I’ve done 3 rounds of IVF. Through the years, I’ve accumulated hundreds of needles. Never once did I realize they came with an expiration date. Did you know?!Just found all of these 😳. Id always tend to use what Id needed and shove the remainder in the back of my closet somewhere.

I suppose it was my way of hiding from infertility like skeletons in my closet. Hiding from the years of pain…mind, body and soul. I’m still an emotional wreck when it come to infertility. But, ashamed isn’t one of them.

It’s not just what’s in the package but the package itself. Medical equipment is sterile packed for a reason. The sterility is maintained by the plastic and paper packaging. Is it unreasonable to suspect that over time a small hole or tear may occur breaking sterility.

There are situations where lack of sterility is not a huge issue and there are cases where it can be fatal. In either case, don’t use expired products.

Coming from a woman who’d dealt with it first hand… No matter how you took the news, the fact that they've told you is a big deal. This means they trust you. They think you'll be supportive. However, knowing how to actually give that support can be tricky, especially if you've never experienced infertility yourself. Women can be quite fragile around the issue of pregnancy & something like a joke pregnancy announcement can end up being a painful reminder of something they are struggling with.

1 in 4 of your friends will have lost a baby 👶🏽 & 1 in 8 will be be suffering with infertility. Fake pregnancy isn’t a joke. Be more creative this April Fools.

The strongest souls are warriors fighting secret battles. Their metal armour has dents and is worn out. The silent battles have left them scarred. The strongest souls have bruises and many wounds that are not visible to the human eye, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t hurt or that they don’t exist. The strongest souls don’t physically bleed, but they bleed on the inside.

The strongest souls suffer in silence.

Yes, we are strong, but we are also human.

You don’t have to suffer in silence about the pain you feel, and about the things that are hurting you. You don’t have to suffer in silence about the things that you cannot control. You don’t have to suffer in silence about the emptiness that you feel every day. You don’t have to suffer in silence about the things you cannot change.

So, my question to you is “How are you feeling...truthfully?”

I’d woke up to this ....So, apparently the male fish I’d bought from the pet store 7 months ago can get pregnant 🤰🏽🙄. I’d specifically asked for male fish 🐠 to avoid this....God, I see what you do for others. I wonder what infertility meds they’d used 🤔
