On Day 1, you’ll learn to wedge, center, open and pull your shapes. On Day 2 you’ll trim and decorate them. We’ll fire them in our kiln, and a week later you’ll be able to take home 1-3 handmade pieces. All are dishwasher-, microwave- and oven- safe.

One of my favorite projects of 2021: a marbled salt cellar, made as a special commission. Though the project went through some ups and downs (kiln meltdowns, unexpected glaze result) I’m utterly smitten with the end result.

One of the biggest game changers in my throwing was when I learned to start using a mirror to check how I was doing. Suddenly I had so much more perspective, and it became much easier to pick up on mistakes or weird habits I had. Also it was just magical to actually see the line of clay coming up as I pulled. Highly recommend you start using one if you don’t already.
