LOOK: Reneboy Haniala Pagon, No. 1 most wanted in Sibulan, Negros Oriental and squad leader of the dismantled South East Front of the Komiteng Rehiyon of the Communist Party of the Philippines, was arrested in Barangay Tayak, Siaton Philippines late Friday afternoon (Oct. 14, 2022). JUST IN: The Philippine Army in Caraga Region on Tuesday reports the death of Rino Colaste, known as “Ka Oto”, a top leader of the New People’s Army (NPA) in the region. Reports said Colaste was killed in an encounter with the troops of the 5th Scout Ranger Company and the Quick Response Team of the 2nd Scout Ranger Battalion on Monday in the hinterlands of Sitio Maraiging, Barangay Bangonay, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte. | via Alexander Lopez

NEWS BREAK | DND Secretary Delfin Lorenzana condemned the New People’s Army - the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines for its atrocities to the Filipino people as it marks its 53rd founding anniversary on Tuesday, March 29. He also stated that the NPA has nothing to celebrate since their anniversary supposedly reminds the people of those who are killed and those who suffered as they fought the government for their wrong ideologies.
