Here's a little side project I just completed: Cain's left assistant arm from Robocop II. I used the files from cgtrader and blew them up 600%. All printed in ASA fdm, sanded, painted and weathered.

TBT - Days Gone Diorama 1/6

This is a 3D print of Robocain's left assistant arm. Files from https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/miniatures/figurines/robocop2-movie-cain-action-figure-3d-printable-model which I blew up 600% to make them 1:1.

Printed in ASA filament, ready for painting. Some hardware will be exchanged.

I don't know why I did that or where it leads me, but I am now printing the right assistant arm ;D

Finished the Dial of Destiny from Indy 4. Model by BillD on printables with some modifications by me. Resin parts printed by Nico, fdm parts printed by me.

I decided to paint a new head for my Blade II Nomak costume.

Indiana Jones artifacts in 1/6 from different sources like cgtrader and thingiverse. Kalima skull chalice by Marcel Sälzer.

I included a magnet in each of the props and hid a metal plate under the cloth so they are pretty secure.

This is one of my favorite movie robots ever - Cain from Robocop II.
Released in 2023 as a plastic injection model kit from a company named moderoid.
I made some heavy modifications including a working screen head and some 3D printed add on parts.
It was a lot of fun.
Base designed by Nico Möbius.

Captain America Hydra Gun

The Hydra Gun was part of a lot of abandoned projects I purchased from a fellow modeler.
Nico once again helped me with some 3D modelling.
I also replaced some parts that looked wrong.

Captain America Hydra Heavy Gun.

This is the second of the two guns from a lot I purchased as a leftover project from another modeler.
Nico again made me two missing parts in 3d – the muzzle and the front grip.
I was able to build the two side pieces myself using windows 3D builder.
Some cyan LEDs were added and painting was done using matte black from a rattle can as well as phantom chrome over a 2K black base.

When I was able to sn**ch a foam cast from the Kroenen Final Battle mask, I was very happy.

The foam piece was cast and made into two versions of Kroenen’s mask during the final battle with hellboy – original and battle damaged.
I had a lot of fun creating these, but they were also a challenge.

When I got the opportunity to visit DDT SFX in Barcelona and got to see all the original masks they made, I was quite happy with my results, since they resemble the movie props quite good.

During my build of the Terminator flesh machine from the Stan Winston teaser trailer for T2 I stumbled across the concept designs for a Terminator storage facility.

I commissioned Marcus Heinemann to build the sarcophagus in 3D, Nico printed it (because he has a bigger printer) and I assembled and painted it, added some lights and made a background.

I also modified a Schwarzenegger head to give the impression of closed eyes.

The pallet you can see in the pictures was also 3D built by Marcus, You may recognize it's heavy use in eighties science fiction movie like Aliens.
