Where is God’s Grace in this global pandemic?

By Alfonsine Chilala

God is love. You can't speak or think about love without God. He invented love; love that can't be defined without sacrifice which involved his only Son. His love can't sometimes be seen, because of the troubles we face we fail to see it, especially in this pandemic: COVID-19. How can we prove God really love humanity in such a season? Can we fully depend on humans to find the antidote for the corona-virus? Is God really going to reveal His Grace for us in such a time? I love this season; it's in such moments when our leaders try to calm us. I've never heard " 't Panic" as much as during this pandemic, one would say that that's the word for the season but nope.
Although our national leaders are trying to keep us calm, the more we listen to news, social media and all sources that brings forth news concerning COVID-19 the more the panic mode is being activated.

True peace comes from the Lord Jesus Christ, especially during such seasons He wants us to rid ourselves of anxiety and to look up to Him. We ought to stand in the gap and pray for God to have mercy on our world, to speak peace in this storm. Christ is faithful to deliver us from this pandemic.

So dear brother/sister, don't be anxious about anything, but by prayer and supplication make your requests known unto God, He will fill you with peace and relax your mind while He is working all things out for your good.

There's nothing as frustrating as a whole busy week!
So much work to be done and many people to meet and sometimes you don't get time to just sit and talk with God.
Well, it would be very difficult if God could only be found at one place, at a certain time, wouldn't it be?
Hopefully now we are given access to live in God's glorious presence. Check this out, you are justified by Faith in Christ Jesus and you can live to please Him alone. You can make a boast in the Hope of Glory because He remains faithful forever. So however this week was for you, don't take your eyes off Jesus, don't let your Faith waver, you can talk to Jesus about anything, any time and anywhere.

I've had times when I had to go to a place, I had no idea of where it was, yet I would follow what people would call "my instincts” and I would get there. I’ve heard some people go like “Well, I just heard something telling me to just walk, and while I was walking, I picked up money”
In a world of ours, we often confuse the voice of God and we turn to call it “something” Isaiah 30 is clear that God speaks to us with a voice, it’s very soft and gentle. So as you walk about be sensitive and careful to listen and obey Him. There are such wonderful promises that follows in verses 22 downwards, it speaks about how God will send rain and how the seed will come forth and we’ll have plenty food. This verse or scripture is so dear to me, because I am now seeing the promises of God being fulfilled in Namibia, how He directs us, how He opens the gates of Heaven and pours out rain.
If you are wondering how you can enjoy the promises of God, you’ve got to make a choice, that’s the choice of obedience. You should choose to obey God.
If you want to learn more about choosing to obey God, visit our site at sggnam.blogspot.com.

What a day to remember that Love is One thing we all need.
Some have loved and stopped loving, some because of love prompted by list have fallen into hurt and claim they'll never love again. But how can we truly experience PURE LOVE?
Pure love comes from Christ Jesus, whoever is in Him will learn how to love the more they spend time with Him.

We're encouraged that love must be Sincere and pure, whatever you do, don't make it an issue of "I love only those who love me' then that's not love, its just returning a favour.
To love Sincerely is to Hold firm to the good and hate every evil practice.
It's to do good whether you're acknowledged or not. You do good without expecting a word of thanks or well done.

Timeline photos 13/02/2020

Trouble is everywhere! Sometimes you experience it because you innocently ended up in that situation, sometimes it's a whole trap. No matter how you got into trouble, what do you do to get yourself out?

Jesus had sent his disciples out with these words “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as wise as snakes and as innocent as doves." Matthew 10:16 NIV
Jesus knew what his disciples would experience that's why He warned them. When voices rise against you, don't try to defend yourself! You don't need to use ordinary words to prove your innocence or that you're right about a matter.

How will you defend yourself? Will the wisdom obtained from earthly masters make great?
Well not at all, when you face trails for being a Christian, the Jesus Christ himself will place the words of defense on your mouth.

What's your take on Wisdom?
Sometimes I sit and wonder how one can have the wisdom of the world, appear to be wise in the eyes of many but in reality is equal to a fool.
It is difficult to make wise choices if you're using the wisdom of the world. King Salomon the great couldn't lead his nation with the wisdom of the world, when God asked him what he wanted he said "Lord, grant me Wisdom to lead your people".
If a great man like him needed the wisdom of God who are we to think that the education of mere men will make us great? True wisdom is from God. Ask it of God who gives graciously without finding fault according to His great reaches.

There are choices to be made daily! What is that difficult choice that you have to make?
See, the greatest choice to make is to Choose to Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and to repent from your sins and follow Him. Is it easy to make that choice?

Well, for some people who think about "what will my parents say, who and who will cut me off, I don't know if my career choice will allow me to Serve God..."
Well friend all the above excuses will cause you to miss your spot in Heaven. And on earth you'll always have a void in your heart. So make up your mind and serve Christ while He may still be found.

For those who're like "Bingo! I've already made that choice" :-) well done. There's yet something more to do, that's to live for Him alone. That is by reaching out to people in your sphere of influence; your classmates, colleagues, neighbors, family, friends and all around you.
You might think somebody already knows Christ just because of their way of speech, behavior or personality. Well friend, you'll be surprised by how people seem to know God but in reality they know Him only from a distance.

Make the right choice and Choose to live For Jesus Christ.

In this modern day, many Christians have grown weary and are now compromising their lifestyle. Look, check this out, we're called to live a righteous lifestyle and most of all to Rejoice and Be Glad in God.
There's a secret in rejoicing in the Lord. Your joy is made complete and by it your strength is renewed.

People wonder why we sing, it shows the completeness of the Righteousness of Christ in us and is made manifest when we sing and express our gratitude to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The reason we meet as Believers in Christ Jesus is for us to encourage and edify each other. Sometimes the week can get us weary. Thus during weekends we try to gather encouragement for another week ahead. So meeting with believers can definitely meet that desire of our hearts.

The reason why we read the Bible is because in so doing Christ will "Instruct" us, "Teach" us in His Wisdom and "Counsel" us with His eyes on Us.

If there is a place where you're most likely to receive the above package is at church. You get encouraged, edified and equipped on how to approach another week in a Godly manner.

So make some time and experience Christ this Sunday!!!

Growing is Awesome!
But, not just any growth; some growth is in the wrong direction and it causes your whole life to go whaaaaaa😨
Growth in friendships can be fantastic to a certain extend, but the BEST GROWTH is your RELATIONSHIP with JESUS CHRIST!

It's Monday and this week seems promising to some, yet it seems like it will be a very busy week for some individuals.

Romans 3:22
God puts people right through FAITH in Jesus Christ. Faith. The way to redemption starts out with a heart that believes and a mouth that confesses (sin) and acknowledges that Christ Jesus is Lord.

But there's more to faith than just saying I believe Christ died for me, that He's the son of God. Because to believe that means you have to live by that lifestyle. Faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26). Faith is expressed in what you do. You therefore, start living a blameless and pure life; studying the Word, and growing spiritually.

If you need help with your spiritual journey, with expression of your faith, or you simply just want to know Christ more, feel free to reach us at our email [email protected] or on our other sites.

Have you ever wondered why some people don't respond to the Gospel now?
This is because; just like we plant plants and don't see it germinate immediately, so it is when you share the Word of God. The seed first needs to get fed with nutrients and water; the Word of God is a seed. When you plant it in a heart, you must make sure the heart is fertile, else you need to add nutrition to the heart. That's by constantly making time for the soul. The water needed is the Holy Spirit. So you've got to be dependent on the Holy Spirit of God.
Just like at harvest time, there could be someone else to harvest so is it in the Spiritual matters.
At times, you're not the one that'll harvest of the fruits, your fellow workmen will. Don't fret, don't be sad, instead rejoice for you're of the same Kingdom.
Not every soul is yours to win. Remember, "The Harvest is plenty, but the Laborers are few"
So pray for your fellow Laborers to be increased, and seek for ways to encourage each other.

We live in a Generation where everybody wants to grow big. Celebrities seek for ways to be known more, we see businessmen seeking for ways to grow their businesses bigger and even churches want to grow in numbers, it's all about growth and more growth!

I personally believe in growth. If there is no growth one needs to get worried just a mother gets worried if a child of tender age seems not to grow according to his/her age group. I recently transplanted plants in our garden and few days later I noticed a few plants were wilting and I got so worried I started doing research. What I found was that what happened was the plants went through what they call "Transplant Shock". It will take sometime for it to recover from a transplant shock and it also has to readjust to the new environment.

When one gives his live to Christ, you go through a Spiritual Transplant. Meaning there is a Change in the roots if your life. As you now give your life to Christ you get to learn that you are a new Creation and all things became new the moment to give your life to Christ.

Well, no matter how long you've been Born Again, if you haven't grown in your walk with Christ or you feel like you've stopped growing, this is your chance to see growth manifest in your Spiritual Life (SL). There are reasons/benefits of being Spiritually Matured. Have a look at them...

Benefits of Spiritual Growth:
1. Strengthened Faith and Overflowing of Thankfulness (Col. 2:7)
2. You won't easily be deceived by philosophies (Col. 2:8)
3. You Discover treasures of Wisdom in Christ (Col. 2:2-3)
4. You Delight in Gods Word (Psalms 119:16)
5. Get Equipped for every good work. (2 Tim. 3:6-17)
6. Become Imitators of Christ (1 Cor. 11:1)
These are some of the benefits of Spiritual grow, make it therefore your ambition to grow more everyday.
