It's so upbeat I could hardly keep my feet on the floor while writing (typing) it. It's all about how death is not the end, and how ongoing communication is possible.

Well, friends, the first lap of the marathon is over: my book was published three days ago. Within 24 hours, Amazon chose it as #1 recommendation in the reincarnation category. It's about a lot more than reincarnation, but happy about the recommendation. For 20 years, every time I was sent on assignment around the world, I tried to experience –through ceremonies, events, funerals – how another culture looked at death. It was very unexpected...and very hopeful. Death is not seen as the end. It is on a continuum with life, and after a person dies, she/he can continue to communicate with the living. It is, of course, a great solace to anyone experiencing grief and bereavement, or to anyone going through a hard time. It also expands one's ideas of what is possible.
