Check out our new patent pending barley auger. Just sit back and watch the pig feed get unloaded. We just need to dial in the efficiency and we’ll be set!!

Happy 4th of July from some very happy pigs playing in the hose while their wallows fill!!
Say cheese! The buck pen may get a little goofy at times (well, actually most of the time), but the boys sure do look good with their cleaned up summer look. We’ll enjoy the fun while it lasts, before you know it the fall rut and all its glory (think long hair, beards, and smell only a doe in heat enjoys) will be back!!
Morning shout out to our rooster Rico. He sounded the alarm and took on an eagle much larger than himself, saving all his hens! Lucky for Rico, just as things started to look grim, our dog Leroy announced his presence and Rico was able to get free.
Rico was cleaned up and is now temporarily resting in a recovery pen. He may be a few feathers lighter than before but looks to be just fine. Rico should have a chat with his rooster buddy Marshawn about helping a guy out!
We have multiple piglets available and ready to move on to your pasture! All come from registered Idaho Pasture Pigs. They are friendly, easy to maintain, and best of all absolutely delicious!! Contact us for more info.

Avery and Buster weighed in at 93lbs
Ryan and Albert weighed in at 96lbs
We still have our last few kids available, but this years keepers deserve some attention! They are a great looking bunch and we can’t wait to see what they add to the herd!
Happy Mother’s Day, and to those of us around Sequim, happy end to this years irrigation festival (the longest running festival in Washington State at 129 years). It was a busy and exciting last few days. The kids participated in the grand parade with their 4H club and fittingly for the weekend, we also got around to turning all our irrigation on! One benefit to having a large pond on the farm, which we named Lake PondeResser, is the irrigation lines and pumps that we use to draw water from the pond to keep the garden, goat and pig pastures green! It also doubles as a great swimming and fishing hole, and place to take out the kayaks.
While this weekends festivities, parade, logging show and fireworks were great, the highlight was definitely the amazing display of Northern Lights lighting up the farm!
After a lot of debate and realizing we can’t keep all of them, we’ve decided to make these 3 available. These will be our last available kids for the year. Each of them are very friendly, love attention, and have parents with great milk production. Message for more info.

As we wrap up our kidding season, many of this years babies are spoken for and reserved. They were definitely a great looking group! If you’re still thinking about adding one of these awesome goats to your herd, don’t hesitate and miss out. We have 1 boy, and 3 girls left.
PM for additional details
Kidding #6. Just as we were settling in with Eden and her kids, Poppy decided to finish off the kidding season for us. Poppy had a much needed easy labor and delivered these two little doelings, one is almost her perfect twin. All the babies are doing well!
We ended the spring with deliveries totaling 5 boys and 12 girls, a nice little ratio!

Kidding #5, our most anticipated of the year. This was a repeat of the pairing from last year because the kids were that great (Eden/Rocky). After the unexpected passing of our herdsire Rocky in January, we really wanted a buckling to keep. Well long story short, it took a lot of work, a team effort, and a delivery in our awesome vets driveway. Eden is a trooper and delivered triplets, 1 buckling and 2 doelings (all on the large side). Yes, we will be keeping our new buckling, “Mel.”

As the weekend, and our spring break, come to an end, we accomplished a few chores and got to spend a whole lot of time hanging with all the fresh babies.
This week we are expecting our last 2 does of the spring to kid, and are just over 2 weeks away from our last spring litter of Idaho Pasture piglets!
Happy Easter! This morning Rosie filled our Easter basket with 11 little piggies! We officially have babies everywhere.
Ryan and Avery were excited to bring home their lambs Albert and Buster. They have been busy hanging with their new lambs working towards becoming best friends! Thank you Jason at Blue Ocean farm for these beauties and we can’t wait to see the kids and their lambs perform come Fair time!
The page has been busy with baby goats, and more to come, but I think Rosie is planning on taking back some of the thunder in the coming days!
HoneyCrisp and Baldwin believe their mom (Apple) makes for a great play set and never gets a break
Kidding #4. Last night, smack dab in the middle of the lunar eclipse, Dotty decided it was time. Dotty did something that has been a rarity for us over the last several years, she delivered one single, beautiful doeling. They are doing great, and I think the theme for this girls name will be easy to figure out.

Kidding #3, the final edition of the weekend. Last night Eve delivered 3 doelings, but decided to keep things interesting. Baby 3 decided to make her grand entrance as a jigsaw puzzle and required assistance, thank you Cindy for the telephone advice and encouragement! The last little girl is doing well, living its best life as a house goat. Time to relax, clean up, and play with some babies!!

We had a great time visiting Blue Ocean farm today! Avery and Ryan were able to start spending time with their lambs they will soon be bringing home and embarking on their 4H/FFA adventures! It’s awesome to have other local farms so willing to help and support kids in these programs. Head on out to the Clallam County Fair in August to support these kids and the work they put into their projects. Avery, and even Henry, will also be bringing a few of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats to show at fair this year!!
