It runs in the family. Today I’d like to introduce another eczema warrior - my sister Trish. Happy Birthday Trish!

I sadly remember teasing Trish about her dry skin when we were kids - ‘crocodile skin’ comes to mind. Little did I know, years later, I’d be struck with chronic eczema myself - the Universe and its karmic equilibrium in full effect!

Despite the harsh lesson, I’m grateful for everything a chronic skin condition taught me - compassion, humility, acceptance, grace. And I’m grateful for any of the suffering I endured, for without it, Herbitual wouldn’t exist. And I’m especially grateful to big sisters, who show unconditional love, to little brothers who don’t deserve it.
