Hi! We are the University of Liverpool Modern Foreign Languages Society! Over the coming year we will be hosting a range of language-related socials.
Our aim is to integrate students from any subject area with our love of languages! This society is for people who want to develop and improve language skills and if you want to meet people with a similar attitude to you! Eno and I enthusing the next generation of language learners with Shaping Futures
Hello language lovers! We are going to be hosting some language taster sessions. These are a great opportunity to try a language you have never tried before. The Salsa Society has invited all of our members and anyone from UoL to join them at their social THIS COMING TUESDAY @ 8pm in Las lguanas (Liverpool One).
There will be music and dancing and a night out afterwards if you are interested.

Hi everyone - big announcement:
The annual AGM is coming up and this is when next years committee members are chosen!
If you are interested in apply for any of these roles:
•president - oversees smooth running of society, leads events
• secretary - deals with admin (emails, risk assessments, meeting minutes)
•treasurer - looks after financial accounts (membership money, budgets)
• general committee member - helps run and plan events, provides support to all other society members
(There is room for up to approx. 10 of these people)
If enough people are interested there is also room for a social secretary (organises social events rather than academic ones) and a trip organiser (can plan trips to other cities or abroad).
Please prepare a mini speech on why and how you'd be a good member of the MFL soc (only has to be 1-2 minutes, will be very informal so don't panick!) and come along to our AGM:

Time: 6pm onwards (once you've finished your speech you can leave!)

The French Soc. are putting on a CHEESE AND WINE night this Wednesday! Check out the event:

French Cheese and Wine Night @ Liverpool Guild of Students An evening of French cheese and wine at the wine bar Kabinett.
Interested in trying out and learning a new language? We have language taster sessions running on Thursday 3rd November from 5-7pm in the Guild (Aung San Suu Kyi room)
The event is FREE for members and £2 for non-members.
The languages that you can chose from are German, French and Spanish. The basics of conversation will be covered and if the event is popular then further sessions will be put on. There will be a food break and a chance to socialise as well!
We look forward to seeing many of you there!
Currently planning some socials for the next two months, keep an eye out!
