Hi friends, it is with an abundance of care and concern for each of you that we have decided to postpone classes. Based on the guidance from the CDC and WHO, I think this is the best course of action for now.
Please check back on my page bc I will be posting some practices on YouTube (and sharing here). That we can all do during this time of social distancing.
Comment below if you are interested in an online Asana class and meditation. I’m happy to set one of those up if folks are interested.
Thanks!
Vinyasa Flow Tomorrow at 9:30 am
I’ve always said, “I just feel better when I practice yoga.” Here are some reasons why 🙏🏼💫
Looking for reasons to try yoga? From increased strength to flexibility to heart health, we have 38 benefits to rolling out the mat: http://bit.ly/2VnVdwI
I ’d like to recommend this book to those who seek to understand meditation and mindfulness in easy language and everyday terms.
-
This book simply illustrates how meditation can teach you a different, more peaceful and more joyful way to live.
-
-
I’ve gained new language to use when teaching students and a deeper understanding myself.
-
-
It was well over a year ago that I picked this book up (somewhere in Utah) while on a year-long road trip. Funny how I held on to it and read it as just the right time to connect the teachings to my life.

The #1 misconception about meditation....
“There is nothing more important to true growth than realizing that you are not the voice of your mind- you are the one who hears it.” -Michael A. Singer
-
-
My asana practice is rooted in the strong foundation of a regular meditation practice. The more I bring this intense mindfulness into my asana, the more I am amazed at what my body can do.
-
-
Even my runs and other workouts have been dedicated to spiritual growth and spiritual practice rather than physical gains and I have never loved or appreciated my body more.

🧘 YOGA CHALLENGE: Day 2 / Dancer🧘
| JANUARY 13-19TH
Sacral Chakra 🍊
The entire universe is made of energy, and your body is no exception. This energy has seven centers in your body, starting at the base of your spine and moving all the way up to the top of your head. These centers are known as the 7 chakras. In a healthy, balanced person, the 7 chakras provide the right balance of energy to every part of your body, mind, and spirit. With yoga, you can align and connect to your energy centers to get grounded and open up to new possibilities.
Join us for 7 days to tune into and tune up your energy centers, giving you a body-mind-soul health overhaul as you begin your journey into the New Year.

I’ve been so inspired by the Path of Raja Yoga so I thought I would share a few posts about it for anyone else who is interested.
Raja Yoga is a structure for living yoga principles off the mat.
Beyond asana (the physical practice of yoga), Raja Yoga has a strong focus on meditation and mastery of the ego and emotions.
There are also certain principles for living a love-filled life for the highest good of all. These are known as the Yamas and Niyamas.
I look forward to sharing more soon!
