Cracked open the countdown calendars today and are watching a Christmas movie this afternoon. Snacks included 👌🏻 calendar 📅 🎄

I honestly can’t believe how fast this year has gone. In a blink of an eye so much has changed and we as a family have grown so much. Hubby has nearly completed his first year at uni, I have become a store manager in our local Lab clothing store, Evie has nearly finished her first year of kindy and has done incredibly well and Lincoln’s health is getting better as the months go by.

Honestly so grateful and blessed. What a month to celebrate life and light.

Today’s ultimate fashion accessory. Face mask. Walking around town and running errands at work today was toxic. The smoke here from the bushfires in Port Macquarie was so thick and intoxicating that breathing was difficult. Despite it all, Brooke and I decided to keep a sense of humour whilst keeping safe inside with air con circulating.

We will remember them 🌷

Summer is on its way with a 32 degree day today on the mid north coast. Bushfires are still burning here and it seems the smoke is here to stay for a while longer. For the brave and selfless firefighters, summer approaching seems to be causing more fear than fun.

Today was a good day. Two things I achieved that were just for me - training at the gym and getting my hair done. Since making more time for me( even if it’s only a short window of time or something small) it has honestly made me a happier Mum, wife and woman in general. I highly recommend scheduling yourself into your schedule. You are so important❤️

It’s been a HUGE year so far with lots of big changes. I am so proud of where I am at in my journey. It’s not where I expected to be, but the process has been the making of me. And for that I am content, inspired and encouraged. I have learnt so much. Things that were once blurred are now in focus and I have learnt that you can’t pour from an empty cup. I have come to recognise the signs before overwhelm begins to set in. Inhale exhale. See things for what they are. A warped perspective makes an unhappy life. I choose happy 😃

We’ve all heard the word HUSTLE thrown around the gram from time to time. Being productive and motivated is a good thing but can the wrong kind of hustle cause more harm then good?

Definitely worth considering as we head into the business of end of year.

It’s been a big week and it’s only Tuesday haha 😂. 10 minutes of mummy time out, a fizz stick and my feet up. Self care doesn’t need to be complicated 👌🏻❤️🥤

Today was 28 degrees and it felt hot 🥵 So I made homemade raspberry sorbet in the thermomix this arv. I practiced self control and didn’t eat it all. Who loves sortbet? So so good.
