made some coffee!! The Captains Cup! I had the pleasure of making the label.
The C**t Co precursor. The “Kristian C**tman” brand was a play on my travels (and weird accent) and my love of Swiss type. Those that have worked with me will see parts of this brand still being used in the background.

Was on a little mission looking through old photos the other day and came across this gem that brought back a ton of memories. It would have been 2004 and Mike Ferraro pulled together a group of us to help R&D wakeboard designs. It was good times. There was one prototype we were so stoked on. It was an amazing board to ride, which was the drive. Unfortunately some shenanigans happened at the factory and it didn’t turn out like the proto. Still a good board but not the same. I think we were all a little deflated about it. We did all get our initials hidden in the first run of boards though, which is pretty cool to me.

Say what you see.
Let’s keep this going. What is this referencing?
Had to go into the archives today and came across this old image. Used to paint all my boards. The Ronix Ibex was a particular fave. Usually it was just masking tape and spray paint. Good Times.
Posted • 2023 WST RCK x Progress Slayer. Graphic by the insanely talented . Now available for preorder!
Order before 12.24.22 and receive $100 off! (West Rock members dm us for your price.)
The “Slayer” has become one of our favorite all around boards that comes in a 43, 48, 53, & 58. It has a super lively core, has great pop out of presses off features, just enough channeling to help lock in carves, and a bomb proof (stick free!) base.
A really fun one, doing bits of branding for the podcast. We were inspired by 90s skate videos and magazines so early on there were mock ups on VHS tapes just to see if we kept the feeling of it right. Here’s one of the early mock ups. I kept using the same pic of , which was then used for episode 2 of the podcast.
Season 1 of the podcast has already wrapped up, it was awesome! Go listen!
Great to see the branding being rolled out for one of the latest podcasts. No Tackle, a podcast dedicated to woman’s rugby.
A little look behind the curtain of what some of the options were for the x graphic. We went through a bunch more colours too. I’m stoked with where we ended up!
Curlz get the hurls.
Catching up on many episodes of today and was laughing at the disdain for Curlz… and rightly so. It inspired this 5 minute monstrosity.
Please don’t use Curlz. Thanks.
I can’t begin to show how stoked I’m am with this project coming to life. Thank you . Thank you
Posted • 2022 WR X “Pipe Cleaner”.
If you’ve followed us for long you know that we love art & working with small board companies. So when Progress contacted us about doing some collab boards - it was a no brainer. Here is board 1 of 2 that will be available in the shop soon!
The Pipe Cleaner will come in the following sizes: 156 151 147 & 143 w/ a custom graphic from the insanely talented .
“The Pipe cleaner is a board designed for people who like to ride obstacles. It will be perfect for jibbing and winching. This model is made for riders who don’t like channels and prefer strong flex. Its shape and rocker type allow you to jump high, and the characteristic wide tip provides strong and stable presses.
If you like the feeling of snowboarding, you will be pleased with this choice.”
About the art from : Catfish have always been a big part of Levings Lake’s history, and we wanted to give a nod to some the fish we’re taking laps over. 🎣

Love seeing these two together! This project has been so fun and such a dream.

X West Rock boards have started to arrive!
Since the beginning, we’ve always tried to work with smaller brands and artists. Back in 2014 when we opened, instead of using the typical rental boards offered at the time we went with (who clearly is no longer small, but continues to be the primary brand at West Rock). (Then Humanoid) has played a significant role in our history with incredible support, and was our first rental fleet when we expanded to a full cable - the durability & unique perspective on the sport was something we always loved. Our friends were only an hour north, made snow and water boards, became dear friends of ours, and made our first West Rock custom board. We’ve also developed relationships with the main brands like the amazing & as well, all of whom have incredible product and teams too.
Why do we do this? To follow trends? To water down our shop with too many offerings? Nope.
We know that every rider that walks through our door has their own view on life, art, has their favorite riders, board shapes, wants to be different, etc.
We want to support the sport, help it grow, and take care of our customers. Period.
Our new friends in Poland hit us up this winter, shared this idea, and we provided the art via the incredibly talented .deth (on the slayer) & (the pipecleaner). Stop in and check them out, buy one, and fingers crossed they will be visiting us to do a proper demo this season! These are not mass produced boards and we are blown away by the quality.
Claire often describes herself as a body mechanic. We decided to have some fun and incorporate that into her brand.
Years ago when her brand was first developed, due to her straight talking, problem solving nature her brand was designed to be bold. Especially in a world more passive softer brands. Nothing has changed in that mindset for this update, we just pulled in a few more influences. Here are some of the icons and graphics.
We played with some different styles for bits and pieces.
There is a simple one page website for Claire. We added the new bits and pieces to that.
We had fun making badges with the Body Mechanic moniker.

My wife has had a personal brand for a few years now. At the beginning of the year we went through a little update and added some new bits and pieces.
First was the core “CC” icon. Updated to be more inline with the update of the brand….
