Knotty Nana's Pyrography
I'm just a retired old knotty Nana, just ask the grandkids! Fell in love with wood-burning (aka Pyrography) in late 2020 and have been enjoying it every since.
I love family, dogs (have 3 Great Pyrs) and spending time with friends.

Ugh .. so a friend had given me this live slab wood, not sure what type. Once before I had a similar piece of wood and I varnished it and the wood looked all wonky. So this time I decided to just wax it ... tested on the back and I liked how it lifted the grain but when i did the front, some came through nicely and the rest is all blotchy ... oh well, i guess the saying i put on it is rather fitting HA
