➡️ Option 1: Ride a van bound to Buguias at km5 near public market then ask to be dropped at the Restaurant (going back will be a bit harder tho since most passing Express vans are mostly full already); but there are buses bound to Baguio (from Mt Province), you just have to patiently wait
➡️ Option 2: Ride the bus bound to Mt Province (Bontoc, or Besao, or Sagada) at Centermall Terminal or you may wait for the bus along the highway of La Trinidad. 5:30 am-6:30am

🚕 How to get there via PUV:
➡️Option 1 (SHORTER AND EASIER ROUTE) : Ride a jeep bound to Longlong at Km5 Public Market, La Trinidad (fare is 13 pesos). Ask the driver to drop you off Alapo or Japanese trail entrance. Walk 10 minutes to destination.
➡️Option 2 (LONGER ROUTE AND REQUIRES A LITTLE HIKE) Ride a Buyagan or Pico Jeep bound to Motorpool. Ask the driver to drop you off at Japanese trail entrance. Walk 15-20 minutes to destination. I would personally recommend this route if you are up to forest bathing and a little hike. Trail is so easy and not really tiring and before you know it, you’re already at the destination.
➡️Option 3: Ride a taxi going to the restaurant. Ask the driver to bring in the taxi up to the resto since it’s not that far and the road is cemented.

❤️APPRECIATION POST ❤️
Note: This is not a tourism related post. Im just using my page to appreciate certain people since my personal fb profile is locked and public posts are not applicable.

Grateful for the kindness and compassion of our police officers from P*p Outpost Ltmps who went above and beyond to ensure the safe return home of this elderly gentleman struggling with mobility challenges. And grateful also to the healthcare providers from Provincial DOH Office - Benguet who stayed late to ensure our elderly loved one got a ride home.
This elderly man was supposed to avail of health services at the Benguet Serbisyo Fair yesterday but unfortunately he wasn’t able to make it in time since the healthcare providers have already left. His approximately 10 minute walk distance from home to the fair area probably took him more than an hour of walk. He had a cane with him and he showed signs of poor balance and difficulty walking that may lead him to have a fall along the way. He had no guardian with him and his IDs had no contact person details.
Healthcare staff tried to request car assistance from 3 different red plate cars, but to no avail they kindly declined because they were on an errand or were in a hurry. As a last resort the staff ran for the police car who just arrived at the station and asked for assistance; and thankfully their office head allowed them to ferry the elderly home.
Thank you PNP personnel and healthcare workers for your dedication in serving our community. God bless ❤️
P.S. For senior citizens out there, especially with disabilities, please do make sure you have emergency contact persons and numbers in your wallets or bags. You never know when you’ll need them ☺️

Some of the many many characters present at the last day of the first ever Renfaire in the Philippines at Carantes Ancestral Forest, Loakan, Baguio City
It’s just so amazing how people creatively put effort in their costumes and attires (attires coz I’ve learned that Lo**ta dresses are not costumes)
Hoping for another Renfaire next year. Kudos to all organizers, merchants, and everyone else involved for the success of the 3 day event ❤️

Limited walk-in tickets will be sold. Come in your best attires ☺️
You may also opt to go to Clicks by Krafty Diaries Photobooth at Km.5, La Trinidad (Strawberry Lane) after the event should you wish to have studio photos of your looks for 150 pesos or 80 pesos only (depends on what photo size you will choose)
P.S. These pics are just some snaps taken at day 2 (was too immersed with the event, wasn’t able to take photos much 😅)

Happy Strawberry Festival! 🍓🍓🍓
Saw these new additionals sold at D’Tuknorz booth at the strawberry lane, km5, municipal park, la trinidad, benguet.
The crochet keychains, hairpins, and other crafts are just way too cute! They also have an “inasinan 😅 meat” keychain. Requested they also make “kiniing or etag meat”-like keychains, so hopefully someday they would.
They also do henna tattoos. The strawberry colored henna tatto is 150 pesos.
Tuknorz sells different ethnic items from bags, to clothes, to jewelry accessories, and other stuffs; so do check them out.

Happy Strawberry Festival! 🍓🍓🍓
This year’s floats are currently displayed at the municipal grounds, Km5, La Trinidad, Benguet.
They all participated in the float competition which had 2 categories, one using recycled materials, and the other, using flowers and plants.
P.S. I heard one visitor a while ago laughing and saying “apay nga nangabak daytuy. Awan met ti white nga strawberry. Anya kano dayta. Hahaha” (Why did this float win? There is no such thing as white strawberry)
Sir, for your information there is indeed a white variant of strawberry produced in our local area. Some say it is even sweeter than the red variant. I personally bought and tasted and somehow it does taste a little sweeter. But what I observed is aside that it is pricier than the red one, it is firmer in texture, so like it’s better to chew/bite.
White strawberries are currently sold at 150 pesos per 1/4kg while the red ones are sold at 150 pesos per 1/2kg.
Anyways, congratulations to the float winners and to all participants. This year’s floats are exceptionally creative and beautiful 😍

Today’s event showcased the replica’s of the past years’ giant strawberry cake including the one featured in the Guiness Wolrd Book of Records.
Tickets were sold at 40 pesos each which included 1 strawberry cupcake and entrance to the “museum”.
As the endorsers at the entrance have said “may cupcake ka na, may view ka pa”
Cake replica’s were real icings (others were even real cake), so don’t know until when their displays will be. Hoping it will be still available tomorrow (March 18, 2024) as it is a holiday for the municipality of La Trinidad.
P.S. wala po muna voice over ang dora niyo sa video kasi paos. But do enjoy the mini tour 😁

✅For now it’s free of charge but I heard eventually there will be a minimal entrance fee (for maintenance purposes) for the succeeding months so grab the chance to use the facility this February for free

🎄Malcolm Square: 10/10: So much love the simplicity and elegance of the designs. Super unique din nung Pinecone
🎄The Manor: 9/10: Daming designs and corners to take pics at. Mejo masakit lng konti sa mata/ ulo yung blue light.
🎄Provincial Capitol Grounds: 10/10: This year’s Christmas tree is so unique and eyecatching even from afar
🎄Session Road Porta Vaga building and yung mga katabi: 10/10: Design only had one concept yet very mesmerizing and nakakaantig ng puso
🎄BSU Grounds: 7/10: Better if there was a concept na nasunod but all goods and pretty parin naman
🎄Muncipal Grounds: 8/10 Cute and organized decors. Medyo same last year though
🎄Rose Garden: 9/10: Galing ng concepts per shop. Really represent Christmas around the globe.
