Water ingress is when water from outside makes its way in. It can cause immediate damage as well as lead to further and more expensive problems down the line. It can even have a negative impact on your health. It’s important to take measures to prevent water ingress or deal with the root cause as soon as possible.

Not only will water ingress the holes left over from seat removal, but high concentrations of oil, lead, and other harmful pollutants will also make their way in. These chemical lay on the roadways and mix with rainwater in a process known as “first flush” and will become permanently sandwiched between your flooring.

This is why it is so important to seal all of the holes in the floor when remodeling a bus or van.
