HIDD3N HAND are a staple of our label and we couldn't be more stoked to display another aspect of their style. This anonymous collective produces everything from nostalgic house bangers to moody, downtempo 2-step, and their unique sound only keeps evolving. "Solid Ground" has a distinct, 90s vibe, with expertly executed vocals and one seriously satisfying, crunch of a snare. As the first track we selected to be a part of this compilation, it's especially close to our hearts and we're happy y'all finally get to listen.

Whenuknow's emotional connection to music has always been strong, and his tracks are a method of experimenting with and further understanding this connection. While he's been producing for long enough to have delved in several subgenres of underground electronic music, his specialty is bouncy -- yet punchy -- Electro House. Originally from Panama, Whenuknow currently resides in Charlotte, NC

Dan Miles is an eclectic and passionate producer, specializing in everything from left field club music to moody house, techno and beyond. It's easy to hear these different influences in "Axis," and the track itself embodies a deeper, darker garage sound that harkens back to early dub and UK dubstep. One of the moodier tracks on Unrivaled Groove, "Axis" has the power of immediately transporting you to a different, powerful, and very welcomed headspace. In addition to DJing and producing, Dan Miles is also the founder of Ohio-based party series Body Heat.

Lewis Aung has been making waves in the breaks scene, and this isn't even his only release with Maison Fauna this summer. Most recently, Aung busted out with "False Dilemma," a club-ready breaks track with elements of jungle & garage. "Aarai" feels more like an ode to gritty, skateboard-time, melodic, I-made-this-on-an-MPC style of breakbeat that you'd put on during a night drive just as quickly as you'd put it on at a rave. And that's not all. Aung is also a cohost of "Between the Breaks," a Bristol-based radio show specializing in Breakbeat, Electro & Techno. Aung is one of 10 voices on our upcoming Unrivaled Groove compilation, and we couldn't be more stoked to showcase his unique sound and perspective. Thanks again to ER and hit that link!!

Two Toke's 'Violets' is now live on all platforms, as well as the hypnotic music video produced by none other than the artist himself. Two Toke is a Bristol-based artist who takes his memories and allows them to play a role in the storytelling of his music. He produces Breakbeat, Jungle and Intelligent Drum & Bass, and has developed his own ethereal, ambient style that combines the three in a dreamy new way. His first track with MF (and yes, there are more to come) is deeply imbued with the 90s style. All of Two Toke’s work -- but especially 'Violets' -- has this floaty quality that makes you feel wholly submerged in the the bluesy guitar and carefully-crafted, lazy, lush pads. There’s a sense of nostalgia, and even melancholia, in “Violets” that's emotive, invigorating, and a perfect tone for summer. Keep an eye out on this one, hint: especially in August.

Lewis Aung is a vibrant and passionate music producer and DJ based in Bristol, UK. As a bass guitarist with 13 years' worth of experience, he is adamant on translating his love of groove and rhythm into his music. His expressiveness is multi-faceted and will take you anywhere from the mellow realms of lofi to the explosive energy of UK dance music. Filled with gritty, snarling basslines, crunchy breaks, and effective chops, “False Dilemma” feels like the rebirth of an underground classic. Fragmented vocal stabs and scream-like synths fall effortlessly between each hit of the stark beat, and satisfyingly accent, ride, and bring home every break and drop. This one’s MASSIVE! Four wonderfall remixes of Jquell Roaché's 371115 EP from James Bangura, Made of Oak, Séance & Kir as well as the two original mixes from Mr. Roaché himself 😎 Following his debut EP 371115, Jquell Roaché and Maison Fauna have assembled a collection of remixes from 5 fantastic artists, all of whom push Jquell’s sound into 4 visionary new directions. Inspiring producer JamesBangura delivers a deep, masterful, hypnotic take on Grub Hub with sub-rattling bass and chainlike percussion. Then, Maison Fauna co-founders Kir and Séance give us a deft 2-step garage workout derived from IJustDroppedMyMarbles’s sirens and choppy vocals. Made of Oak (Sylvan Esso's Nick Sanborn) samples Grub Hub’s catchy vocals and weaves them into a beautiful melodic dive through cascading synths and organic textures. Finally, UKG legend Para graces us with a joyful 4-on-the-floor garage rework of Grub Hub that takes the source material in a completely different direction.

Do you want to know what the future of techno in America sounds like? Well, good news: we believe it’s this right here. We’re so stoked to release the debut EP from Ito Gasper - Decrepit Synthesis. If you’re familiar with the sounds coming out of clubs like Tresor, Berghain, and (the soon to be reopened) Fabric, you’ll immediately recognize the influences. You’ll also notice a little something that’s new, fresh, and completely original—something completely Ito (aka Addison Herr). Addison is an artist we’ve been working with since his debut under on Field Guide I under the pseudonym GLAMOR. His approach to production, his attention to detail, and the visceral quality of his music are clearly influenced by his work as a visual artist and VR engineer (you read that correctly). Because all of that wouldn’t be enough, young Addison is also an amazing dancer.
