👋 Meet Alissa!

Alissa D.Luepke Pier, AIA, is a national award-winning architect whose practice specializes in creative, complex problem-solving with purpose.

She is most renowned for deciding on land use applications in a quasi-judicial capacity, master-planning projects for school districts, facilitating community engagement, or designing residential/commercial buildings.
.. but Star Wars fans have experienced her work personally, as she has also designed the diorama booth layouts for every Celebration since 2015.

Her interest in Star Wars began at an early age, as evidenced by the many Return of the Jedi stickers in her childhood stickerbook; and her good fortune in playing the singular Princess Leia role when outside with the neighbor kids in her youth, despite not having brunette hair.

Alissa's history with the diorama group took root when she went to C4 with her husband and found the perfect combination of nostalgia for her childhood (Star Wars) and her University years (design studio) ... and the rest is history!

Meet Jamie! 👋

Jamie Follis, AKA Sillof, is an award-winning teacher of history, religion, and film by day ... but in Star Wars circles he is an artist known for his groundbreaking, unique, and imaginative reimaginings of of Star Wars into various eras and genres—such as Samurai, WW2, Western, Steampunk, and more.

He is mostly known for his work in action figures, but he is also a talented miniaturist, prop maker, and diorama builder. His work has been featured in many notable places, from Entertainment Weekly and MTV to the TV Show Supernatural.

He has worked for a variety of celebrity clients including Seth Meyers, Patton Oswalt, and Bobby Moynihan.

Jamie has been helping to run the Diorama Builder area at Celebration since Celebration II back in 2002!

Our co-directors, Jamie Follis and Alissa D. Luepke Pier, have over 35 years combined professional experience planning
diorama builds for fans and convention events!

Jamie got involved with Frank and the original Diorama Workshop at Celebration II in 2002 and Alissa joined the crew shortly after at Celebration IV in '07.

We can't wait for you to join us and help build our way through the chapters of The Mandalorian series!!

At Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019, we worked with Fantasy Flight Games and Star Wars Legion.

We are so excited to continue and grow this partnership with our 2022 sponsor, Asmodee Games (Asmodee France Asmodee USA)!

The 2022 build in Anaheim will be in the 1:48 roleplaying miniature scale again!
