EFCC warns Nigerian youths against a purported planned protestu

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, cautioned Nigerians to avoid cooperating with a “shadowy group” to instigate a protest against the Commission.

This was contained in a statement signed by the commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.

Oyewale said a group has been actively campaigning on social media and recruiting impressionable young Nigerians to take up arms against the EFCC.

He said the movement is being promoted by the people against the Commission’s effort to fight cybercrime, advising youths to disassociate themselves from the protest, stating that the EFCC will not tolerate any breakdown of law and order in the country.

He said “The Commission, while not averse to protests by citizens, is alarmed by emerging evidence that suggests a grand design by corrupt elements under investigation or prosecution by the Commission to exploit the so-called protest to orchestrate a national uprising that may threaten the peace and security of our dear nation.

“As a responsible law enforcement organisation, the Commission will not tolerate any breakdown of law and order anywhere in the country, especially around its office locations across Nigeria.

“EFCC, working in concert with sister security agencies, is therefore taking necessary measures to deal with possible threats to the peace and security of Nigeria.

“The Commission, however, appeals to parents, guardians and heads of tertiary institutions to take responsibility in ensuring that their wards are not recruited to be used as cannon fodder in a proxy war against the Commission by vested corrupt interests.

“The war being waged by the Commission against corruption and cybercrime is to protect the future of the youth of this country.

"I invested more than 2 billion naira in Rema. But once he started making money from his music, he felt I wasn't treating him well. Upcoming artists often don't realize how difficult it is to sign an artist. The contract I had with Rema was favorable to him, yet he felt he wasn't being treated right and decided to terminate it. I wish him the best," Don Jazzy remarked. He noted that Rema terminated a contract that was supposed to last for 15 years.

*Curious to know more, the journalists began to investigate and were able to meet this Victor Agbo to ask him if the story told by Okocha is true, and he confirmed it, adding that his career as a footballer ended after that match as it was the only opportunity to become professional but i was sure Okocha would go far and do better. So I remained unemployed, fulfilled and happy.*

*However, journalists, observing his luxurious house and his fleet of cars parked in the garage, asked Victor, "but being unemployed, how could you have such a house and cars and living so luxuriously You seem rather comfortable physically. " Victor's answer: "All that? .. is Okocha. "*

Mr Iorver was working on his cassava at mount Ngokur where he was reportedly attacked by a roaring lion.

In a self defense bid, Iorver launched a counter attack, in what can be best described as a fierced battle, lasted for about ten minutes before Iorver defeated the wild beast.

Achieving the feat was not easy as though he accomplished his mission but he was rushed to General hospital Adikpo!

Barber in Port Harcourt, Utobong, Found Dead after a s*x marathon with a Woman he invited to his house.

A Co**se of a male barber, Utobong, has been found dead at Osina Street, Mile 2 Diobu, Port Harcourt.

According to reports, the incident happened in his room where he had a marathon of s*x with yet to be identified lady

Further investigations reveals that; the lady has absconded from the room where the co**se was found.

Items found in the room are 2 black bullet energy drinks, two packs of tramadol and s*x enhancers were found by the side of the co**se.
