I am now working/training the dogs at Dogtown resort in middlbury indiana.
Here are just a few of the dogs i was able to work with today.
If your looking to foster/adopt please consider looking here!
Loki💛
She is a shepherd husky mix. She was dropped off at a business and found with an empty bag of dog food. The owner was able to finally catch her after feeding her daily and setting up a crate for her to sleep in. After a few days she finally let her pet her and the next day the lady was able to grab her leash. She reacted to every other person so when she caught her she brought her straight to me. She didn’t have any reaction to me but every other person so far she has. I am doing a 3 week board and train with her and then she is going to her new home. I can’t wait to see her training come together and see her success!
Don’t forget to scedule your board and trains before it gets super busy after Christmas!!
This is super easy and so fun!!
Worst case scenario is that I’m making a dog happy by sending them a toy - what can be better than that? I’m looking for dog owners interested in a holiday gift
exchange. It doesn’t matter where you live in the U.S. you are welcome to join! You have to buy one gift valued at least $10 and send it to your secret dog. (Hello Amazon!). Your dog will receive 6-36 gifts in return. And the great thing is you can keep them or donate them! A present will brighten their day (and the owners too). We could all use some happy mail.
Let me know if you are interested and I will send you information detailing how to participate.
Just comment I’m in!
Toys only please, no food or treats!
USA ONLY
We are participating in this this year! Comment or dm for info!
Ever wondered how your dog would be treated when sent for training or boarding?
Just like this 💛
Charlie is our puppy board and train.
They all get treated just like family in a normal houshold environment. There loved by the whole family!
Charlie
He is a husky Pomeranian mix. Here for a one week board and train. Potty training/puppy class! He’s already doing so good!
Bailee
Bailee is a 1 year old mini golden doodle. She did a 2 week basic obedience board and train and now she’s back for a month long board and train to learn service work tasks and start her PA work! Can’t wait to see how far she goes and how much she helps her owner!
☃️❄️ITS COLD ❄️☃️
With the cold weather being here it’s time to put out some information. These are only a few main signs to watch for in your dogs that let you know it’s to cold. If you go outside with a winter coat and snow pants on and your still super cold it’s probably to cold for your dog.
Dogs still need potty breaks and exercise in this weather! They do have boots and jackets to help!
😍💛

Did you know one of the most common reasons a dog has behavior issues is because the owner is to scared to tell there dog NO! 🛑
Most think it will ruin there relationship or make there dog unhappy. I’m here to tell you the opposite will happen. When you give your dog rules, guidelines, and structure you set them up for success. When you have a dog that listens to you and knows what’s expected of them the dog is able to have a lot more freedom.
If you have a dog that has no structure or rules and you let them off leash, what happens? They run away from you. Now the dog is no longer able to be off leash.
Now say you have a dog who knows the rules and you know when you recall them there gonna come back. That dog now gets to be off leash and have lots more fun!
Training, rules, structure, and guidelines allows our dogs to be able to enjoy there life to the fullest and it’s a lot more fun for the both of you!
So don’t be afraid to tell your dog no!
☀️ The only way to be successful in training is to get out and work on it ☀️

Training Tip Tuesday-🐾-
One of the most popular issues people have in training their dogs is potty training. So many people get rid of there dogs because they “have tried everything”.
Here’s a few tips to try and if all else fails try hiring a trainer.
If you need help or just have questions you can always dm me!
Crate Your Dog- This doesn’t mean shove your dog in a crate and leave them there. This means if you really can’t watch your dog put them in there crate. Give them a toy, a blanket, etc. The crate is NOT a punishment and should not be used that way.
When you teach your dogs commands such as place it’s helpful to you in so many ways! If your cleaning your house, cooking dinner, or really anything we’re you can’t really watch your dog but can check on them every so often. Place works great! You can even have a leash on them tied to something close so that even if your dog does break the place command they can’t wonder to far.
Tie there leash to you. This gives you full access to them at all times.
Once there doing good with these things allow them more access, only allow them in the main rooms that your in, then move to just the downstairs, work your way up to full roam of the house. If they mess up just go back to the beginning and re start. If you don’t catch your dog in the act of pot-tying you can’t do anything about it. If you catch your dog in the act say no in a loud firm voice. Pick your dog up, take them directly outside, and re start the process.
Make sure your taking your dog potty all the time. It may feel like a lot but it’s worth it in the end. If it’s not a puppy you can wait longer periods of time. The maximum a dog can hold there bladder is around 8 hours. That doesn’t mean you should let them. It’s not good for them to do that consistently. For a 5 month old dog, it can only hold its bladder for a maximum of 5 hours. Again, you don’t want it too. When it comes to puppies take them outside ALL the time.
Feel free to message me for more help and tips on potty training!
