Do you schedule consultations and do a trial run before my wedding day? Once you’ve chosen your dress and headpiece, I suggest we meet to do a trial run. We can discuss what you have in mind for your special day and actually do the make-up. Maybe you have some pictures you’ve torn out of magazines or a picture of yourself at a special event that you’d like me to recreate. After trying and then deciding on the look, you’ll be comfortable and worry free about your big day! You may also want to schedule your trial run for a date that you are already planning on going out or the day of your Bachelorette party. Do you charge for travel expenses or to go to a specific location? All bridal services are offered on-location, I come to you! For the trial run and the wedding day, I’ll meet wherever it’s most convenient for you, at no extra charge. What type of products do you use? All of my products are professional, high end, long lasting and hypoallergenic. My kit includes Stila, Nars, MAC, Benefit, Smashbox, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Laura Mercier, Ben Nye, Cinema Secrets, Hard Candy, etc. Are false eyelashes included with beauty makeup? I include false eyelashes for your look, upon request. I use the flares, as well as the rows, both of which will add a little oomph to a smoky eye and allow your eyes to really stand out and pop for the camera. What other services do you provide? I work with many highly skilled and professional people. Once we’ve met and I know what you’re looking for, I can recommend an individual to you. Hair Services are available upon request. I also do make-up for television, film, commercials, music videos, photography, print, runway, theater, fashion, airbrushing, Special FX, fantasy, head shots, advertising, make-up application lessons, bridal and special events. Please inquire about pricing. Do you Airbrush? Yes, I do Airbrush. I use the Air Craft Airbrush System. It delivers total beauty, streamlined simplicity and creates a flawless finish. I use a non-toxic foundation, which is water based, rather than silicone based, creating that everyday gorgeous look. Do you offer make-up applications for darker skin tones and for women of color? I have extensive experience and background in working with various ethnic skin tones, including Asian, Hispanic, African American, Indian, Armenian and Mediterranean. Can you effectively conceal rosecea, blemishes, blotchy skin,and tattoos etc.? I work with clients that suffer from rosecea, psoriasis, and blotchy skin. Because of the fact that I use and work with a variety of make-up brands and products, I will be sure to accommodate your needs and find the perfect product to suit you. How long before the start of my wedding will you arrive? I like to devote approximately 1 hour to apply the bride’s make-up and 30 to 45 minutes for the Mother of the bride and for each member of the bridal party. Once we’ve done your trial run, I’ll know how much time to allow and will plan accordingly. We will also have to consider what time your photographer will want to start photos. How far in advance should I book my appointment before my wedding day and what is the procedure to do that? I recommend that we schedule your trial run no later than 1 - 2 months before your wedding date. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required to hold the date. This includes attendants and bridal party fees. The rest of the balance is due the day of the event. You may pay with cash or check. Do you offer make-up application lessons? Do you do spa parties and/or wedding parties? Yes, I do all of the above. If you would like to gather a group of women together, this is a really fun and creative thing to do! Through demonstration and application, I can teach you and your group of ladies how to apply their own make-up, recommend particular products for your skin type, provide some beauty secret tips and techniques and answer any questions you might have. We can talk about how long you'd like me to stay and group discounts, etc., when you schedule. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions you might have.
