Hi there! As some of you are aware, I have recently retired. I am loving every minute of it! Currently, I have had the chance to rekindle my passion for knitting! I have been knitting since I was about 10 years old. My mom was the first person to teach me how to knit and crochet. Throughout my life, I have knitted for my family and children. I have knitted and crocheted baby clothes, toques, mitts, scarves and sweaters for my children growing up. I've also knitted and crocheted throw blankets, bedspreads and even Nordic sweaters. To think about it.......I've done alot of different projects. Knitting and crocheting for me is exciting because it allows me to be creative and at the same time I find it to be relaxing! I love to try out new patterns, redesign old patterns and create my own.
I have created this page to showcase some of the knitted pieces that I am doing right now. Since I love the northern winters and am proud to be a Canadian, I love to knit pieces that reflect the true north or Canadiana style.
