I am considered lucky. lucky to have healthy family members with me during lockdown, and lucky to not have to worry about whether or not i will have my next meal. unfortunately for many malaysians this isn’t the case.

in such extraordinary circumstances i urge everyone to reach out if you need help with anything; buying food for your family, feeding your pets, or buying hygiene products. do not hesitate to reach out or put up a white flag. please remember that you are not alone and there is never any shame in asking for help.

if you have the means to, please help, whether that is seeing your neighbours white flag and buying them staple groceries (rice, chicken, milo etc.) or donating to organisations that help put food and necessities into people’s houses, every ringgit counts and helping fellow malaysians is so important, especially at a time like this.

stay safe and abide by the current government regulations so we can have some sense of normalcy back into our lives. reach out to your friends and let them know you care and they have someone to lean on for emotional support & my dms are always open if you need someone to talk to.

tldr: please ask for help if you need it. if you have the means, try to help those in need. also reach out to your friends, especially those living alone
