I wanted to engage Brothers and Chapters in NYACOA to enhance the existing fraternal infrastructure by leveraging resources untapped by our district at the time. Together we did some amazing things and it makes me even more excited that SEVENTY-EIGHT percent of Chapters in NYACOA has publicly endorsed this campaign! Brother Ellis and the S.E.R.V.E. team travelled over 1,200 miles through six states with seven stops to execute the Ellis for Eastern Regional Vice President Tour: The “Eye-2-Eye” Brotherhood Engagement Series. Traveling from Albany, NY to points south, the team gathered with small groups to re-emphasize the principles of the S.E.R.V.E. platform and demonstrate why . A little over a year ago, the George Biddle Kelley Education Foundation, Chaired by Brother Christopher Ellis, sponsored a trip to Washington, DC for our Collegiate Scholars of Tomorrow families to visit the historic Howard University, Martin Luther King Memorial and the National Museum of African-American History and Culture. The Brothers of Beta Chapter gave our families from the Capital Region of New York a first class tour and oral history of Howard University. This was a life moving moment for our young students.
