CultHera project aimed to enhance civic engagement in the protection of cultural heritage at the local level, integrating a European perspective.

📖 About CultHera:
CultHera was dedicated to strengthening the competencies of university staff and promoting civic participation in cultural and historical heritage. Our efforts focused on developing comprehensive educational materials and fostering greater awareness of EU values and the importance of cultural heritage.

Promotion of cultural and historical heritage coherence from a common EU perspective.

On April 19, 2024, the National Conference of Portugal (Multiplier Event) occurred at the School of Hotel Management and Tourism of Madeira (EHTM), Funchal. The University of Madeira organized the conference. The target audience included students, teachers, staff, and management of EHTM, as well as other stakeholders interested in CultHera. The main objective of this conference was the presentation and dissemination of the results of the CultHera Project. During the conference, participants expressed their opinions on the presented results and the best way to preserve national and regional cultural heritage. The conference ended with a showcase of the regional gastronomic heritage, with a brief presentation by the staff on the preparation of all dishes, elaborated by the school's students under the supervision of their Chef.

National project conference in Zagreb, Croatia, April 9, 2024, University of Zagreb

The concluding event of the project, organized by University of Zagreb, aimed to present the final results to Croatian stakeholders. The event was attended by 30 participants, primarily comprising educators, consultants, museum and heritage experts.
The project was well received, and participants exhibited keen interest in learning more about the final results. Most of the educators expressed a desire to further study the training materials.
Overall, the conference filled a void in academic research and practice by creating an inclusive environment where theoretical and practical insights converged, offering actionable strategies for ongoing and future work in cultural heritage.

The Italian Multiplier event was held on 19th April 2024 in Ancona with the presence of some representatives of municipality both of Ancona and San Benedetto del Tronto, where it is located another facility of our university, ministry of cultural heritage, a cultural association and other teachers and students from another school. Moreover a fruitful discussion with professors from foreign universities was held.

On 16 March 2024, a conference summarising the CultHera project was held in the Auditorium of the Pomeranian University of Science and Technology in Starogard Gdański (Poland). The conference was organised by the FRAME Foundation.

The meeting was aimed at students, academic staff and Partners and Stakeholders of the University. The primary aim of the meeting was to communicate the results developed during the CutHera project.

During the discussion, participants took up the theme of active policies in the field of cultural heritage protection. The meeting was also an opportunity to provide information on the possibilities for the involvement of universities in the implementation of Erasmus + projects, particularly with regard to the cultivation of regional cultural heritage.
