K.C. Cordell
I’m K.C. Cordell, author of the So You Survived the End of the World series. I like writing about aliens, monsters, and superpowers. I also do art.
Though the unfinished paintings collecting dust around me might scoff at that claim.

I didn’t get much reading in during December so I came into January hongry for some good reading. That’s right. Not hungry. HONGRY.
My 2022 reading is off to a healthy start this month with four enjoyable novels and 21 volumes of various manga! And unfortunately, two DNFs. (I was really bummed that they just didn’t hold my interest. I really wanted to like them. 😞)
For some reason, I didn’t track the manga or comics I read last year. But I know I read a TON of manga (as you may be able to tell from my January count), so I’m excited to keep track this year!

I’m always keeping an eye out for interesting reads! So tell me, what was your favorite read this month?
Some fun facts about So You Survived the End of the World - Book 2:
💀 It will be longer than Book 1. Maybe twice as long. There’ll even be chapters and everything this time!
💀 While Book 1 features some mindless beast type of monsters called hellions, book two brings Baz and Meza face to face with a much smarter class of monsters known as sludgebrains.
💀 Get ready for some 90s hip hop
