Chigwindiri They tried to bury me without knowing that I was a seed...
As we draw the curtains on 2022 the song Chigwindiri is a reminder that you can achieve anything in life if you put your mind to it. Believe in yourself, in your purpose and your vision. GOD is intentional with his gifts. Your vision is yours because you were created to fulfill it. Don't allow anyone's negative perception of you to hold you back. Day 6 of 21 _ Celebrate your wins
It is so important to give yourself credit and to celebrate yourself.
Many of us were raised to be modest. We can only accept external validation when it comes to our achievements because it is a sign of humility and good character.
But what if the external validation π€ that credit is never attributed to you. Do all your efforts go to waste? Do you give up and stop trying?
It's time to stop waiting for someone else's approval. Approve yourself. Endorse yourself, you wonderful, amazing, unique and beautiful creation.
Let your war cry always include the echoes of your accomplishments. You are gifted. Well done, for all your π wins, both small π and big!!!
Day 5 of 21 _ The mind requires Freedom of self expression to thrive...
Some say an oppressed mind, a captive mind is as good as dead. There is no peace, no growth and no hope for a mind that is not free. Ironically, oppression in any form is only truly effective when you can capture the vision, minds, creativity and innovation of the masses.
As a warrior of your own destiny one of your biggest battles is to free your mind from thoughts and beliefs that serves to retain your captured state.
Only you are capable of creating the destiny that you wish to encounter in life. Only you can free yourself from poverty and strife. It begins with your mind.
Remember everything you need to achieve everything you want is already invested deep within your soul. Just believe and get started. Start small if you have to, but just start.
Day 4 of 21 _ Encourage yourself daily!
One of the key attributes of the African battleground is the war cry. The war cry inspires strength, and motivates the warriors, making them feel invincible and powerful beyond measure.
You would be surprised by the results that this level of confidence yields on the actual battlefield.
Are you aware that your mind is the biggest battleground that you will ever encounter? The impact of every war, every challenge every situation that you face begins and is dealt with by your mind.
You need to start encouraging yourself daily. Each day is an opportunity for your war cry to echo from the depths of your soul, reminding you that you are beautiful, that you are competent and that you are deserving. Start your day with a positive word addressed to yourself and see how that impacts you throughout the day.
Warrior is around the corner friends... I am excited. Are you ready?
Day 3 of 21 _ Dance through your struggles
Everyone is going through something. We just don't wear all of our problems on a sleeve for the World to see.
We live in a time of loss. Some have lost people close to them, or suffered from poor health in these dark days. For others the losses extend towards material things such as sources of income, homes, cars and other things of value. Globally we can see how these issues have caused us to turn against each other.
Sometimes it gets really difficult to keep smiling and being hopeful through the pain. Ironically it is when it most difficult that we are required to harness our remaining strength and stretch it beyond the capacity we believe we have to keep moving.
It is in light of the very essence of the need to keep moving that I want to remind you today, that you don't have to run, you don't have to take huge steps. Move slowly as your pace allows. Crawl if you must. Roll over if that is all you can manage. You can simply do the bare minimum to keep moving, but whatever you do keep that slight momentum as it sustains the rhythm of your heart and passion.
Dancing through your struggles isn't literal. It simply means, no matter how tough it gets keep moving and trying. Also remember that movement isn't only physical. Movement can be simply reminding yourself about the first step that you need to take towards achieving your goal. It can mean seeking a simple moment meaning in hopeless times, a conversation a loved one, watching an interesting TV series or simply doing something you love... If you are like me, then you will write a song, write that book, push that dream... but take baby steps as you need.
The Warrior Buried Deep Within you is a fighter. Keep Dancing to revive the fighter in you.
Warrior... coming soon.
