Have seen this around a fair bit and it comes with a great reputation. The girlfriend said it’s her favourite wine. She was introduced to it at a fancy bar in Stockport. I know! A fancy bar in Stockport... I have to agree with her, this is a wonderful red wine. Very similar to the Cono Sur that has a consistent tone with its taste that’s really enjoyable. What I like about these full bodied wines is they have the depth but doesn’t leave your mouth feeling it’s be scorched of all moisture.

I actually got this as part of my Secret Santa at work. It’s from M&S, so not my usual place of wine purchasing so I was quite intrigued. Really light on the nose. Very fruity with a consistent tone throughout the taste. Ends very well. This is a classy wine that is very moreish. My dad likes it too - don’t take anything from that, he’s not a wine guy.

This hits you like a beach. That first hit is like a punch in the gob. It’s good but it’s not great. Smells like a full bodied wine. Very earthy sniff to it. There is a flowery aftertaste which is probably the worst part of the wine. I think beachfront is the Echo Falls of the Aldi wine.

Have you ever seen a wine bottle with a security lock? No, you haven’t. They need to protect this because it is that good! Bicicleta by Cono Sur is hands down my favourite wine. It’s a little bit more expensive than what I usually go for but my goodness it’s close to perfection. Why does it not have full marks? I believe there is going to be a perfect 10 out there and I’m on the hunt for it. This hits all the right notes from the first sniff to the last gulp. Fruity as a light wine but has the depth of a full bodied bastard. Get this in you.

This came highly recommended by someone from work. Looks cheap, was put right off when she showed me the bottle. Nose turned right up but she reassured me. Has got a decent sniff and for the price this is a solid drink. First taste carries on into the after taste.

Says it’s delicious with red meats... this will never be delicious. Shocking wine. Starts really promising and then ends up with the most pathetic aftertaste. Never buying again.
