In 2023 a USA govt study found that the drinking water from nearly half of U.S. taps contains “forever chemicals” that may cause cancer and other health problems.
It's not just drinking water. The drugs and chemicals excreted by the human body end up in sewage which gets dumped into our rivers and and other waterways. In fact during the last 10 years scientists have shown inters*x fish have been created, likely as a result of the chemicals and drugs passed into their habitats, with male fish developing eggs in their te**es.
