A special Happy to a few of our favorites! As many of your know S+G Bakery was Born in the Gundersen Health System NICU, just like our little Stella (all 2lb 6oz of her). Our cookies may have male names to celebrate the masculinity of our baker, but a majority of them are named after our incredible friends from Gundersen. We are forever grateful for all they did to help care for our early delivery, but also to prepare us for life with a preemie (which is literally no joke 😵‍💫). It is the smallest way we could show our immense gratitude, to name our cookies after these incredible women! You ladies know who you are and we will never stop thanking you for you incredible love, care, understanding and expertise! And of course for creating the name of our bakery, and inspiring us to make it happen! Thank you!

Happy National Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day! Pictured here is a young Anthony Schmidt learning to bake with his mother and grandmother. That bowl is still used in the Schmidt Kitchen to this day!
