Request: 1960s Vintage Snow Princess Doll Cake.

My family was trying to figure out how she would get clothes on....simple...it's all buttercream to include the jewelry. 😉

Of course I had to add some edible glitter because what's a Snow Princess if she doesn't glisten!?! ✨️✨️

When you have a no baking on the weekends rule but you just couldn't resist.....

Homemade Pecan Caramel.
It's both buttery and caramely (totally made that up). It has the perfect chew with just the right amount of crunch. 🤤

How will I use it 🤔!?! I can think of a few ways.

Her request:

8" 3 layer owl themed cake and 2dz owl themed cookies.

Cake:
Vanilla with a vanilla buttercream
The entire cake is edible (minus the butterfly). The owl is made of rice krispie treats, covered in sculpted fondant, and painted. The mushroom variety and flowers are fondant (all hand sculpted).

The cake was made to look like a tree stump using a new technique that I've been wanting to try and couldn't be happier with the results. This cake was hard to give up, so I had remind myself that it wasn't mine 😆.

What a beautiful day for a wedding and some delicious Cakesicles to make the day a little sweeter! 😉

Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, chocolate treats , etc.

There is something so classic about black and gold. The two together are so stunning and polished.

This 2 tier cake is covered in a black, vanilla buttercream. It has gold splatter and edible gold flakes for that extra flair.

The top tier is a 6" 3 layer Red Velvet Cake with a stable cream cheese buttercream in between each layer. The bottom tier is an 8" 3 layer Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream in between each layer.

The black and gold sails were created using rice paper and are also edible. The cascading gold balls are Ferro Roche Chocolates.

I'll always be proud of this set. My hands were tired but the results were worth it!

Hi Friends!!! Due to the forecast of inclement weather arriving to NC, recently being declared a state of emergency, we have made the decision to not take part in Friday's Pop-Up Event.

We didn't make this decision hastily but definitely with the thought of precaution in mind, as it's an 1.5hr (round trip) for us to make. Safety is always first.

I met her at the age of 3yrs old, while serving in children's ministry. I watched her grow into a beautiful young lady and now a new mommy!

I'm always so honored when chosen to create "sweet" treats for those I've had the privilege to watch grow up. So grateful for the connections that were made all those years ago. ❤️
