Welcome! You’ve just found your private escape in Northumberland.
The Forge is a 2-bedroom cottage with plenty of space, both inside and outside. We’re 6 miles west of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which means it’s 15 minutes from the coast and glorious beaches at Spittal, Cocklawburn, Cheswick and Goswick as well as the causeway to Holy Island.
In the other direction are the Cheviots and plenty of walks and cycling. The Scottish Borders are just to the north, and it’s a little over an hour up to Edinburgh via Eyemouth and North Berwick.
The bedrooms both have en-suite shower rooms and super king-size beds. The lawn is roomy enough for a game of croquet, and there are two seating areas, one on the deck with a fire pit and the other near the BBQ and pizza oven.
So, best of both worlds: privacy when you want it, and access to the most stunning scenery and beaches for fresh air when you want to blow those cobwebs away.
