Thanks to Allah, the Faculty of Fish and Fisheries Technology - Aswan University- obtained the approval of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities to start studying in the new, unique and distinguished program in Egyptian universities, the "Master of Science Degree in Sustainable Management of Fisheries and Aquaculture (SMFA)".
The new program is the result of joint cooperation between four Egyptian universities (the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - Alexandria University - Aswan University - Matrouh University) and four European universities in countries (Portugal - Italy - Croatia - Slovenia) within the framework of the activities of the " “Knowledge Exchange in Sustainable Management of Fisheries and Aquaculture in the Mediterranean Region” funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ Program".
The program grants outstanding students a travel opportunity to study and intern at European universities participating in the project.

👉 1st PROJECT WORKSHOP

During the first project workshop partners assessed analysis of the labour market, compared the educational programmes in EU, Egypt and International Universities and discussed the Development of the Quality Plan.
After these activities, partners were designing the FishAqu programme - courses and curricular records - with respect to fisheries and aquaculture.
