Balance is not 50/50 regarding your fitness journey.

You need more in order to see results

Which is why, I Introduce the 80/20 rule majority of my time I am (80%) sticking to my non negotiables, working out, eating @ home, engaging in personal development, etc.

20% I let go, eat out, have a drink or 2, etc.

20% & 50% are a HUGE DIFFERENCE!

So envision yourself at 50% 🆚 80%, which one do you think puts in more time but looks, feels, and acts better?

The inner work, consistency, & removing the thought of doing the bare minimum is how you will have a better lifestyle but most importantly a better you 💓

Try these 3 things this week to help you move towards a positive direction.. 💬

1. Get clear on 3 goals for the week: Less is better, & being intentional will help you achieve those goals.

2. Set your schedule: Treat your gym, meal prep, journalling time as an appt w/ yourself. You wouldn’t cancel a doc appt, so don’t cancel these important tasks.

3. Say no: stop allowing people, things, laziness stop you. You are In charge of your time & things/ppl that don’t serve you, don’t deserve your time.

❌DONT COMMIT THIS BIG MISTAKE IN YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY. 🚫👀

For the longest time I was focused on going through the motions of things to say I completed them & a lot of times it was only half a** effort.

Specifically in my lifting, I was going “heavier” on weight but didn’t realize I was walking into a possible Injury if I didn’t stop and set a strong foundation.

This mistake cost me gainz, my form was p**p & I was not putting my full effort in perfecting it b4 going heavier.

Certain exercises were hurting, or I didn’t feel the burn you get when you target a specific muscle.

& it humbled me bc I knew I had to go backwards. I wasted time rushing through the process instead of doing it correctly from the beginning.

Learn from my mistakes and set a strong foundation that will sustain your journey long term to slowly but surely see consistent results.

If you’re currently here or want to prevent yourself from committing this mistake follow these tips. ✨👇🏼

1. Have a workout plan you could commit too & doesn’t change every week. (At least 4weeks)

2. Perfect form over weight.

3. Track your lifts. This will show you how much your actually increasing rather than guessing.

4. While lifting challenge yourself by progressively overloading past comfort to see gainz, but safety first. 🤗

5. Always remember sometimes short cuts end up taking longer if they aren’t completed correctly. If your going to do something do it right the 1st time.

Your peach🍑 is not growing because.. ⬇️

1. You are not training hard enough or consistent. 🫡
- I used to limit myself be afraid of lifting heavier because I’ll look stupid but I had to get over that fear if I wanted to see gains. & most importantly do it consistently, don’t have a end date just keep showing up! Your results will come with time. Trust yourself & the process amigis!😏

2. I didn’t know how much I was under eating protein! 🥩

- You hear this everywhere but protein helps you feel fuller, less random snacking, helps rebuild muscle, & essential for recovery.

3. You are not activating! ⚠️
- I warm up with my b***y bands (dm me 2 order yours) & do exercises that target my glutes ex: glute bridges, hip thrust, fire hydrates, crab walks, any glute exercises.

These are only 3 reasons & you should start to ask yourself are these reasons
holding me back?

✨The lows are what build you and the highs are what reward you! 🤯

My low was 2018 when I was going through the motions of life, drinking every weekend, following no routine & not prioritizing myself.

So many things felt wrong, I cried a lot, I constantly felt bloated or had no energy.

I needed a different lifestyle, (didn’t know it at the time), but the thing about being low is you either stay there or you get up and keep moving. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had to make a decision to prioritize me which helped me reach my high’s… 🤎

💜That meant going to the gym after work. - pack a gym bag & have it w/ you to avoid you going home.

💜Stopped drinking every weekend & planned hiking days to catch up with my girls - pair movement w/your friends, make it fun! ❤️

💜& improved my mindset. - listening to audiobooks, podcast, or anything personal development is essential & influential. What you listen to daily DOES make an impact.

You don’t have to do crazy things so make changes you just have to start.

& your lows will be influencing your highs, which will reward you! 💜

I had a problem with binge eating at night after being “good” all day, do you relate?

I had no control of what or how much I ate at night & although I felt guilty after doing it was a repeated cycle.

I felt even more self conscious & the need to restrict myself the next day, until that time came again.

I thought that if I barely ate, or skipped meals I would see results faster & girrrrl no wonder I was hungry AF at night!

I wasn't eating enough, & when I was, I was stuffing my face with the late night munchies (AKA JUNK)

I didn't consume enough protein to keep me full, I overdid it with carbs (carbs are not bad, eating too much of it is), & I hated veggies.

After months of trying ALL the diet trends I had figured out that one, I needed help so I hired a coach & two, I had to stop trying everything & just keep it simple with what I can do long term.

The difference between old me & current me is I stopped thinking of what was the fastest way to lose weight & focus on simplicity.

When I changed my mindset from short term goals to long term goals
follow a workout plan customized to me that included learning about…

#1- “MY” macros, based on my goals & my body, eating 3x a day

#2- Consistent gym routine, 3x/week (aka an appt w/ myself)

#3- Started with & once I got the hang of it I cont. to learn how to cook w/ videos.

#4- The power of self help podcast, books, & positive videos have a bigger impact than music

Looking back, you either do the work & see the results or you don't & you stay stuck + getting worse.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

How my client went from being burnt out from group classes to feeling confident in the kitchen & consistent in the gym! 💪🏽

When she first started my program she was coming from a gym that focused on HIIT workouts

(STORY TIME) I was 18 years old, in high school when I decided to moved out…

I am the oldest of 7, oldest siblings know the responsibility this automatically has..😅

But even tho I made the decision to leave, it wasn’t a easy!

I wasn’t in my home with my parents, & no matter how strict they were with me, I missed them.

Realizing that with freedom came real life sh*t & no one was coming to “save” me.

No one was worried on how I had to fend for myself, get myself through college or how I was mentally feeling.

I am now 25 years old & my whole journey has been a roller coaster! 🎢 (highs + lows)

📍I’ve learned things,
📍Experienced crazy life situations,
📍Cried & laughed,
📍Traveled,
📍Started my biz- Fitness coaching,
📍Got my AA in criminal Justice,
📍Live with my man, ❤️
📍& continue to grow!

So why the F would I care about what anyone says?!

No one pays my bills to have a input in my life.

& No one looks out for you, like you do ! 💯 So, do what you gotta do to show your younger self you made it. 🥹

Did you say January 2023 was your year? & now sitting lost AF? !

Srly tho I've been in the same spot you're in where we are 3 months in & things are still the same. 🥴

but it doesn’t have to be bc the year isn’t over! 🙌🏽

Here are things I was trying to do but let get in the way…

I was still watching my RHO Beverly Hills (IYKYK), instead of writing my workouts the night before. 😅

And I was letting stressful days, things, or people put me in such a bad mood that instead of releasing it at the gym, I would sleep, cry, or binge eat to try to feel better. 💔 ( )

TBH, I treated myself as a joke, & sounds harsh but what else do you call it when you play your own self by allowing other things to stop you from reaching your highest self??

Things needed to change, drastic changes were not ideal for me or else they would have worked before 🫠.

so I started making small changes!

💥 #1 Start to wind down 1 hr B4 bed, leave your phone, journal about your day & set 3 goals for the next day.

💥 #2 Stop trying to change all your bad habits all @ once, try cutting down w/out cutting it out completely, slowly you'll crave it less & reduce the chances of you binge eating!

💥 #3 if you have tried it & keep failing you need someone to teach to get you results. YOU are your best investment. Your $$ comes & goes, make it worth it.

Remember! Your journey is not just fitness, you need the WHOLE pie to reach a different you. Doing nothing will keep you in the same mentality.

🚩REVEALED🚩“IM SCARED TO LIFT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO LOOK BULKY”

Amigis! THIS IS A LIE!!

Many of you cardio queens are still on the treadmill because you think you’ll get bulky if you lift weights.😅

I didn't start lifting weights until I hired my coach bc

1. I was clueless & thought ill get bulky
2. Weights felt intimidating
3. & It was a majority of men in that area.

BUT, We women have so many things going on w/ our bodies that it makes it difficult to get there right away for ex…

We have way less testosterone compared to men, making it harder for us to build massive muscle quickly Undermining our strength, not increasing our weight, reps, perfecting form, etc. (Not lifting heavy)3. We may be under-eating protein (Key to lean muscle gain)

I let these silly things stop me. OFC, it was a legit feeling at the moment but now I LOVE taking space & showing myself NO ONE could stop me from feeling strong & sexy lifting weights. 😉
