We have been working hard with Multi, ZaZa, and Esperia to create an exceptional academic conference! The theme is something you won’t want to miss - Interculturality. 🌍

Five speakers from different departments will give interesting short lectures about interculturality in their fields of research. The full lineup of speakers will be announced next week, along with the schedule, and additional information about their topics.

I'm a linguistics gal currently doing a pre-master Translation, with my end goal being a Masters degree in both Translation and Education.

If I'm not at the Harmony building you can find me on the court 🏐 I play volleyball at Kroton and I love trying out new sports at Aclo. I also really enjoy travelling, so if you've gone on any of our NUTS trips before you might already know me 😉

‘As the chair, you will be responsible for the board and the association in general. This may seem like a big deal, but it is not as scary as it sounds. With the whole board, you will make decisions, but you just get the final say, which can also be quite fun ;). In addition, you will organize the weekly board meetings and lead the meeting, making sure that everything needed to be discussed, is discussed. The same goes for the biannual GMA, where you present the board’s plans and ideas, as well as lead the meeting. Lastly, as the face of the association, you will be in contact with the other chairs of other associations.’

Hi NUTSies! It's time for the last activity of this academic year! To satisfy all the book lovers among us, we will be hosting this event in Walter's Bookshop. And what does a book lover never have enough of? If you're anything like us, it's bookmarks. So we will be getting out the arts and crafts supplies and making our own! And most importantly, you will get a 10% discount on books you buy during the evening! The event is free for NUTSies and €2,50 for non NUTSies.

Hi NUTSies! We cannot wait to see all of you this week. There has been a slight alteration to the Murder Mystery Dinner. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, GUTS will not be joining us and we had to change the venue.

This means the Mystery Dinner will be held at the Ugly Duck at 18:00 instead. We will still have some mystery elements planned, so join us for an exciting event!

Hi NUTSies! This Tuesday we will have Gabriël Juursema as a speaker. Gabriël is an alumnus of the ELC and WEM programs of the RUG. He will tell us about his career as a technical writer, as this is a career that is underrepresented in the career orientation.
