Today was an extraordinary adventure exploring the Okavango Delta by mokoro canoe. The weather was perfect, with sunny skies and a gentle breeze, setting the stage for a tranquil yet exhilarating experience.
As I boarded the traditional dugout canoe, I felt a sense of anticipation and excitement. The guide expertly navigated the winding waterways and I was immediately captivated by the serene beauty of the delta. The clear water reflected the blue sky and lush greenery that surrounded us.
Throughout the trip we encountered a variety of wildlife. I was thrilled to see elephants drinking at the water's edge, hippos lounging in the shallows, and crocodiles basking in the sun. The diverse bird life was equally fascinating, with colorful species flying overhead and perched on the reeds.

Today I embarked on an unforgettable river safari on the Chobe River in Kasane, Botswana. The sunny weather and clear skies made for a perfect day to explore the natural beauty of this region. As we set off on the boat, the gentle breeze and shimmering water created a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
The Chobe River is a haven for wildlife and I was fortunate to see a variety of animals in their natural habitat. Elephants gathered at the water's edge, drinking and playing, while hippos basked in the sun, their massive forms partially submerged. Crocodiles lurked near the shore, their eyes barely visible above the waterline.
The highlight of the day was watching a herd of elephants cross the river. Their coordinated movements and sheer grace were mesmerizing. I captured the scene in my sketchbook, trying to convey the majesty and serenity of these magnificent creatures.

Today I had the privilege of witnessing one of the world's most awe-inspiring natural wonders - Victoria Falls. The sunny weather and clear skies made it the perfect day to explore this majestic site. As I approached the falls, the distant roar of the water grew louder, building my anticipation.
When I reached the overlook, the sight before me was breathtaking. The immense cascade of water plunging into the gorge below created a mist that sparkled in the sunlight, forming rainbows that danced in the spray. I stood in awe, absorbing the sheer power and beauty of nature.

Today I arrived in Lusaka, Zambia, to a pleasant, partly cloudy day. My destination was the Kabwata Cultural Village, a vibrant hub of traditional crafts and local artistry. The village was alive with the colors and textures of Zambia's rich cultural heritage.
As I walked through the village, I was captivated by the artisans at work, their hands deftly crafting beautiful pieces of wood, fabric and beads. The intricate designs and vibrant patterns of the handmade items were a feast for the eyes. I spent hours exploring the various stalls, each offering a unique glimpse into the artistry and craftsmanship of the Zambian people.
One stall in particular caught my attention, displaying an array of intricately carved wooden masks. The artist, a friendly local man, shared the stories and meanings behind each mask, adding depth to their visual beauty. Inspired by his passion and the rich cultural significance of his work, I felt compelled to capture the essence of these masks in my sketchbook.

Today, Durban greeted me with sunny skies and a refreshing sea breeze. Eager to experience the coastal charm of this city, I decided to spend the day walking along the Golden Mile. The beachfront was bustling with activity, from surfers riding the waves to families enjoying picnics on the sand.
As I walked along the promenade, the rhythmic sound of the ocean waves accompanied me, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility. I often paused to take in the vibrant scenes around me - children building sandcastles, street performers entertaining the crowds, and vendors selling colorful trinkets and delicious snacks.
The sight of surfers catching waves was particularly captivating. Their fluid movements and the way they navigated the waves seemed almost like a dance, a perfect harmony between man and nature. I found a spot to sit and sketch, capturing the essence of the surfers' graceful movements and the dynamic energy of the ocean.
The day was a beautiful blend of relaxation and inspiration. My second day on this trip took me to Johannesburg, a city full of history and resilience. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a warm breeze to guide me through the day. My visit to the Apartheid Museum was both enlightening and deeply moving.
The museum's exhibits vividly portrayed the struggles and triumphs of South Africa's journey to freedom. As I walked through the various sections, I was struck by the powerful narratives and personal stories that brought history to life. The photographs, artifacts and multimedia displays painted a picture of courage and determination that left a deep impression on me.

Today marks the beginning of my third trip around the world, starting in the enchanting city of Cape Town. The weather was simply gorgeous, with clear skies and a gentle breeze setting the perfect tone for exploration. I was eager to immerse myself in the local charm and natural beauty.
My first stop was the company garden. The tranquility of this lush oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city was just what I needed. As I meandered through the gardens, I encountered a diverse array of flora, each plant telling its own story. I found a quiet bench in the shade of an old tree and began to sketch. Today I visited the National Gallery of Singapore, an impressive building that once served as the Supreme Court and City Hall. The gallery's collection of Southeast Asian art was both inspiring and humbling. As I wandered through the exhibits, I met a fellow art lover named Hannah Lee. Hannah is a local artist who specializes in mixed media installations. We struck up a conversation in front of a captivating piece by Georgette Chen.

Today I visited the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, also known as the "floating mosque". The view of the mosque against the tranquil lagoon was breathtaking, especially with the clouds reflected in the water. While admiring the architecture, I met Farah, a local university student who often visits the mosque for its peaceful atmosphere.
Farah shared that she studies architecture and finds inspiration for her projects in the design of the mosque. We talked about the intricate details of Islamic architecture and how it combines function with beauty. She pointed out some of the unique features of the mosque, such as the minarets and the calligraphy that adorns the interior.

Today I spent the day exploring Kota Tua, the historic heart of Jakarta. The weather was perfect for walking through the cobblestone streets lined with colonial-era buildings. The Jakarta History Museum was fascinating, offering a glimpse into the city's rich past.
While sitting in Fatahillah Square sketching the old architecture, I met a local artist named Rina Santoso. Today was a remarkable day exploring the ancient temples of Bagan. The weather was perfect for a day out, with the sun shining brightly and a light breeze making the heat bearable. I decided to take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the temples, which turned out to be a delightful experience.
During the ride, I met my guide, Ko Lwin, a friendly local with an infectious enthusiasm for the history of Bagan.
