We announced details of the Digby Lights program in our newsletter see the full newsletter here: https://us7.campaign-archive.com/?u=afda5f1a3a85557b8669ffde2&id=3e7890b50e

How to take part!

1) Posters: displayed in all our DATA member businesses. The posters outline the tour and also have a notice that says "Pick Up your Tour Kit Here". This would direct visitors to enter the businesses and inquire about the Lighthouse Tour.

2) Tour Kits: They would consist of the new Digby Trails map, and a Tour card.

3) Instructions: The visitors are instructed to go visit all 8 of the lighthouses and answer the CHALLENGE QUESTION, which is to write down on their card the # of windows each lighthouse contains. They are also encouraged to take a selfie of themselves at the Lighthouse and share on social media using the hashtag

4) Digby VIC: Visitors that complete the tour can pick up their keychain at the Digby VIC and also fill out a ballot for the Grand Prize if they like. The VIC staff will give out one keychain/family.

Please contact us at: [email protected] for the supplies to be delivered to your business.

The unofficial results are in and it shows that I lost the election by just 3 votes... It was a close race! I absolutely had the support needed to win this election; I know this because of all of the knowledge and feedback I received during my campaign and because of numbers! It really does take the people making the choice to vote, in order to see change. There's strength in numbers! I thank all of my supporters, both inside and outside of district 5, from the bottom of my heart! I'll be kicking myself for a bit for not prompting residents to vote right up until the last minute. However, it does feel really good knowing that I absolutely had what it took to win. I needed 3 more votes and had them, trouble is they only count if they're placedπŸ™ƒπŸ˜‰ A massive thank you to everyone who took notice of my efforts during this campaign. Thank you for the inspiration, feedback, encouragement and learning experience! I really did enjoy all of it, but my favorite was getting to meet more members of the communities, and learning more about what people want to see happen within them. It's been an eye opening, proud, humble and strengthen experience and I can't thank you all enough for it! πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

The Weymouth area has always been my home. It's where I went to school, got my first job, started a family and raised my children. I'm proud of my community and happy to call it home!
