I found this snippet in my phone gallery from his 81st birthday celebration. The huge stadium was full of his dear and near ones. It felt like everyone had gathered to worship the god of Kathak. I was also the part of the devoted crowd. As Maharaj ji entered on stage,he took mike and said softly, "Come here on stage...sit closer to me. I am not going to perform...I am going to share my experience with you all!" And that day whatever he was talking, singing, dancing...it all looked like a living sculpture creating history. .
