THE NUTSHELL ROSTER
Proudly presenting… Fierce Shook!
“Fierce Shook are a 3-piece post-punk band whose members all originally hail from Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland. The group consists of Rob Moore (Guitar, Bass, Vocals) and brothers Owen (Guitar, Bass, Vocals) and Ozzy Holmes (Drums, Vocals).
The band was started as a private hobby and a creative outlet for its members over 10 years ago. The band released their debut EP "Fierce Shook Altogether" in March 2021. This was followed up with the singles Daniel, Astro Turf and Luthite over the course of 2021 and 2022.
The singles that they've released to date have received extensive play on mainstream stations such as SiriusXM, 2FM, 2XM and Shannonside FM as well as on specialist shows such as Little Plastic Radios, the Absolute Worst Show and Bobs Joint amongst others. Their previous releases have also received favourable reviews from publications such as the GOO Dublin, Indie For Bunnies, Zone Nights and Mango Wave Reviews amongst others.
The group played their first gig in August 2022 in the Bello Bar and this was followed by a number of well received gigs around the country, including their first festival appearance. The band would also go on to record a live radio session for Near FM.
In November 2022, the band entered Windmill Lane to start recording their debut album. The album is expected to be completed in early 2023 and will be released later this year”
