Do-Re-Mi: Music for Children

My name is Vera Di Bella and I am a local music teacher that runs a private music studio in the Ingham district. I provide tuition in Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Voice and Do-Re-Mi: Music for Children.

Do-Re-Mi: Music for Children classes provides the opportunity for children from
birth to 6 years of age to engage in a range of musical experiences using voice, dance/movement, puppets, percussion instruments, scarves, ribbons and books (just to name a few). This approach ensures your babies and children are absorbing and experiencing many different elements of music such as pitch, dynamics, speed, beat, rhythm, listening, gross/fine motor skills, sequencing, memory creating, turn-taking, self-control, in tune singing, concentration, dramatic play and self confidence. These skills are not just related to music, they also benefit children with the overall development and life skills.

Enrolling your child in these classes from a young age is an ideal introduction to music education that equips children with skills on which to base later experiences such as instrumental lessons, careers or just relaxation and appreciation.
