After a lengthy hiatus, I finally got back "behind the microphone" this week to record one of the most "real" podcast episodes I've ever done...
In this episode, I peel back the curtain on my ADHD journey, from what led me to seek a diagnosis, what happened when I was diagnosed, and what I've done since then that I think might help others who are in a similar boat.
You can give it a listen here:

Do you drive yourself crazy with how inconsistent you are?
If you're a Catholic with ADHD--or just someone who struggles with focus and follow-through--you're in the right place!
Consistency for Catholics is an online program designed to help you build healthy, sustainable habits in your life, without the guilt and shame of past "failures."
Learn more and find out how you can join here: https://www.athrivingcatholic.com/consistent
I've been getting so much great feedback from other people who struggle with ADHD since sharing about my recent diagnosis...
I've literally been laughing along with some of the stories people have shared! I keep saying to myself, "Yep, yep, that's it. That is life in the ADHD brain."
One example: I was so hyper-focused on creating the sales page for my new online program ("Consistency for Catholics") that I *literally* forgot to eat. Food wasn't even on my radar!
So what do I do in situations like that? I have a timer set on my watch to go off every day at 12:00--it's my, "Oh yeah, food exists" timer ;)
And...sometimes I ignore it anyway and keep hyper-focusing. There's no one "right" way to manage ADHD.
We just learn to work with these wonderful, quirky brains of ours and keep showing up the best we can each day.
If you're interested in learning more about "Consistency for Catholics" let me know in the comments or send me a DM :)
(Also, have you forgotten to eat lately? No judgement here :)
So, I haven't told many people this yet...
But a few months ago I was officially diagnosed with ADHD (something I've suspected since my oldest daughter was diagnosed 6 years ago and all the questions on her questionnaires felt WAY too applicable to me!)
Anyway, one fun project I've been working on "behind the scenes" is a new program for other Catholics with ADHD who want to build more consistent habits around sleep, diet, exercise, planning and prayer.
I figure if I can make these healthy habits "stick" with my ADHD brain, then I can help other people do the same!
It's called "Consistency for Catholics" and I'm launching the first iteration next month.

Want to know the #1 productivity secret that you can do in less than 1 hour per week for FREE?
💪 It is one of the best keystone habits that I’ve ever committed to - exercise.
This is the #1 tool in my kit when it comes to boosting my energy, mental acuity, resilience, and productivity – and I don’t spend that much time on it!
🕐 In fact, I’d estimate that I spend less than 1 hour per week intentionally “working out” -- which is great news if you’re like most people I know who never seem to have time for exercise!
Episode 4: How I Boost My Energy, Resilience, and Productivity in
🏆 What does it mean to be excellent as a Christian?
🏅 How do successful people live with excellence?
✨️ What are the benefits of virtue, and how can we grow in it?
These are the questions that we’ll be exploring on this episode of The Catholic Pursuit of Excellence Podcast with my special guest, Catholic Prayer Coach Rose Folsom.
Episode 4: Excellence as Growth in Virtue with Rose Folsom is available now! 🎧

This is by far one of the most common challenges that I help my coaching clients with.
And while it’s true that none of us can create more time (that’s God’s domain) - what we can do is drastically change how we experience time.
So how can you feel like you have more than enough time every day? ⏳️
Listen to this episode for a surprisingly simple mindset shift that will help you feel more time-abundant – especially if your to-do list is impossibly long.

A few years ago, I took my favorite bible verses and used them to create a list of "affirmations", or statements of truth that I could remind myself of each morning during my prayer time.
I plan to share these "Catholic Affirmations" with you over the next few weeks.
I pray that they will be a blessing to you as they have been for me :)
