Here are some of the key takeaways:

✅ Facebook has created a way for small to medium-sized insurance companies to compete with billion-dollar insurance companies for quality leads.

✅ Facebook has been the go-to digital marketing platform for insurance companies and agents looking to generate leads for their businesses

✅ Facebook is a huge, ready-made market, with an estimated 1.39 billion active monthly users

✅ Facebook ads are one of the cheapest on Social Media - Can achieve $10-$30 per LEAD if you do things right. This will depend on your niche, location, and success of the campaign set up.

Eliminate the cold calling & missed opportunities with this awesome feature you can use with your Facebook Lead Ads! ⤵️

When creating your lead form, include the “appointment request” feature to give leads the ability to tell you the best time for you to contact them!

This will increases your chances of getting on the phone with a lead and closing a deal. 💰

Now you can also just have an ad sending them directly to your scheduling page, but keeping the user on Facebook does 2 things:

1️⃣ It gives you the ability to successfully retarget and not have to battle the iOS updates.

2️⃣ The lead form is very user friendly and easy to complete, giving you a better chance at generating more leads.

At some point, whether it’s by mistake or not, you may be faced with a rejected ad. 🥴

Here are the best steps you can take!

1️⃣
Edit the rejected ad so you are compliant with Facebook’s ad policy. Or…. You could just make a whole new Ad from scratch.

2️⃣
If you feel that you didn’t violate any rules, you can always request another review for your ad. Your ad will usually get approved once it goes into a second review because the second review is performed by a human, not a robot.

Here are a few do's & don'ts when creating facebook ads!

Michael and I like to double (sometimes triple) check all the ads we create before clicking "publish".

Some questions we find ourselves asking each other when reviewing our ads are:

"Is this misleading?"

"Does this come off too salesy?"

We believe in the "keep it simple" approach.🙌

When it comes down to it, always stay up to date on the latest Facebook Advertising policy.

Here is a little behind the scenes of what goes down when receiving that 🙌BEAUTIFUL EMAIL🙌 from SquareSpace letting us know that someone just filled out our contact information form.😃

1️⃣ Schedule a meeting through Calendly

Once we receive a submission form, we do a quick overview of the company to see what they are all about.

After that, we send over a Calendly link for them to choose between a regular phone call or a zoom call.

2️⃣ Prep for the meeting

We like to take a deeper dive into the company and see where they stand from a social media perspective. We look for things they are doing well and things we think they can improve on.

We like to do this just to gain a better understanding of the company and to see where we can help or what we suggest.

3️⃣ Have the meeting

🛑DON'T MAKE IT A SALES PITCH🛑
Latasha James explained it best...If you have a skill or a service and you know what you're doing, you don't really have to "sell" anybody on it. Think of it as simply helping someone out. Remember, this company came to you.

Conclude the meeting by asking if they would like to move forward with a contract agreement.

4️⃣ Send an executive summary and Contract/Invoice

Why the executive summary?-Well, we like to think of this as a summary of the call explaining what the client wants out of us.

Always being on the same page is important to us.

5️⃣ Kick off the onboarding process

Start off the onboarding process with a:
➖Welcome Package that contains detailed business information
➖Client Questionnaire
➖Customer Service Response Form

But only send the customer service response form if you are managing an account! You don't need it if you're just running ads.

6️⃣ Gain access to all accounts

7️⃣ Send over a confirmation email

8️⃣ Send over social media strategy and wait for approval

Again, we like to always make sure we are always on the same page with our client.

9️⃣ GO TO WORK

Social Media Today published an article this past week on how we can maximize the reach with our Facebook video content. 😃⁠

As marketers, we jump at article headlines such as this one. We know how crucial it is to get in front of the camera and humanize brands through video content. 📹⁠

Here is our take on the 5️⃣ tips provided in the article: ⁠

1️⃣ Create videos that drive intentional and loyal viewing ⁠

In other words, create content that will keep your followers coming back to Facebook. When they want to view your videos, they KNOW they can go to Facebook to see them! ⁠

2️⃣ Create videos that build meaningful interactions and drive authentic sharing ⁠

When you are creating a video for your Facebook, ask yourself this:⁠

"Does this video give my friends a reason to share it with their friends?"⁠

Luckily, having a partner is super beneficial in this situation. When we post content, we always ask each other "Is this good? Will people care about this? Is this engaging? Would you share this with friends?" ⁠

It's important to ask yourself questions like these. ⁠

3️⃣ Create videos that are your original content⁠

If you are creating your own original content on Facebook and it delivers a very user-friendly and engaging interaction, Facebook sees this and rewards you for this. ⁠

Remember, user experience is priority number 1 for Facebook! ⁠

4️⃣ Upload videos that will consistently bring your audience back to your Page ⁠

Don't be a 1-hit-wonder! Have a strategy behind your video content. Social Media Today gave the example of breaking up your video content and making episodes. I am a huge fan of that idea. ⁠

5️⃣ Create longer, high-quality videos that keep users watching and engaged⁠

I know we are all used to the 15-30 second reels, but Facebook wants to see longer higher-quality videos. ⁠

When you make the videos, think about that first 60-seconds. That's what Facebook is really watching for. Are users sticking around for that first minute and, of course, are they liking and sharing your video?⁠⁠⁠
