Do you have any idea of the amount of work that goes into putting on the Uxbridge Optimist Fantasy of LIghts in Elgin Park?

Here is a behind the scenes (BTS) look at all the work that the small but mighty Optimist Club of Uxbridge does to make this happen. It gets going in mid-September until the final rehearsal the night before. Volunteers also come in to help with replacing bulbs, connecting the strings of lights, testing outlets... a lot of work!

Fact: there are enough strings of light in this version of the Uxbridge Fantasy of Lights, that they would stretch all the way out to Port Perry – 15 kms away!

Thee must to-see event of this coming Christmas season!

This is the 13th annual, Fantasy of Lights Uxbridge, and this 2020 Edition is the best yet!

Big change this year, because of Mr. Covid, the Fantasy of Lights is a drive-thru event. The "walk-thru" trail has been temporarily suspended for this year. The small but might Optimist Club of Uxbridge has been working hard behind the scenes... yes a video is coming!... And again this year, there is no fee to enter, no tickets required... simply show up during the open hours and drive through the lighted fantasy wonderland. At the end, Volunteers are set-up to gratefully accept donations. They've gone high-tech this year and are accepting contactless donations. All funds raised by the Optimist Club go towards supporting local youth initiative in the Uxbridge area.

No doubt, the best thing to do to celebrate the season this year! Enjoy!
