It’s hard to feel bad for someone who makes themself a criminal by committing a domestic violence act, by literally attacking a woman. This man repeatedly punched this lady in her face, and right in front of her 14 year old son at that! And don’t get me started on the cowardly bystanders that didn’t do anything. Literally other men in the same room, just watching a woman get beat like a dude, and all they did was watch in shock. None of them, other than her son, tried to help her… cowards.
Can you imagine the fear this 14 year old must of felt when he saw things escalating for his mom and then the horror that he experienced to see his mom get physically attacked by a man much bigger then him! Of course he had to use a gun to stop him! If her son would have tried to jump in the middle of it, to get the man off of his mom, then that monster would have turned his fury onto her kid and probably beat the kid to death since her kid was a teenage boy.
It wouldn’t have been a fair fight and it wouldn’t have panned out good for both the mom and her son. So of course, a weapon had to be used to prevent further bloodshed.
It’s unfortunate what happened but the action that was taken, I feel, was warranted. It was complete self-defense for him and his mother. I wouldn’t feel bad about the measure that had to be taken. The only issue is that now this young boy and his mother are going to need some therapy to help heal from this ordeal, so my heart goes out to them.
And no, I’m not a big gun advocate myself, but I do believe in having one for protection.
