Today’s weather will bring a little bit of everything. After the little power outage scare we are happy to announce that will be open for our normal hours.

Kat will be in the shop from 10 to 4 today and happy to show you around. We will continue with our Sales event for Michelle from Michelle's Jewelry & Textile Studio for her macrame, hangers, scarfs and wind chimes ( jewelry is not included).

Did you know that we are puppy friendly? Besides the water bowl and complimentary p**p bags there is always a treat and a cuddle waiting in our shop. And if your puppy enjoys the treats you can purchase some from Nova Dog Bakery with us.

The weekend is here and that means Sober Island Brewing Company,The Bandwagon,Polar Bear Express Ice Cream and of course Musquodoboit Harbour Railway Museum and At Your Own Pace will be open as well. Come and spend your weekend with us.

Bracelet dump at the The Whistle Stop. So much fun visiting Kat and browsing through all the lovely, artistic goods...all made locally. The are on display and sparkling like usual. The days are longer, the sun is out more often and the temperatures are rising. Could it be that summer is making it's entrance? We sure hope so =)

We are extending our hours to the summer schedule ( only reflects hours for The Whistle Stop) anyways and are positive to have some great months ahead. The museum grounds will be bustling with so many events planned. Make sure to follow Musquodoboit Harbour Railway Museum for their calendar of events. Feel good story to share.

One of our customers got in touch with us today in the morning and asked if we could put a campfire wrap and a card aside. Her hubby would pick it up later. It’s going to be a present for a dear friend that is facing tough times right now.

It’s a no brainer! We got the order ready and received the feedback this afternoon. Knowing that we can make somebody happy with our selection of gifts makes us happy.
