🚌As we prepare for back-to-school, it’s essential to focus on the quality of what we feed our kids. What we put on their plates can either feed disease or fuel health. Remember, if we don’t buy it, they don’t eat it.

Start with real, whole, nutritious foods when packing lunchboxes. Avoid overly processed foods, artificial dyes, and excess sugar. Prioritize healthy proteins, carbs, fats, fruits, and vegetables, and choose clean, healthy snacks.

Encourage your kids to love real, whole foods.

Feeling truly hydrated is all about clean, filtered water, minerals, and sun. But what’s more important about hydration is the absorption of water on a cellular level, not just the amount of water you drink.

Let’s talk proper hydration 💦

Adequate hydration is crucial for optimal health. We need minerals for glowing skin, good bowel movements, nervous system function, and as building blocks for hormones. These minerals are essential for eliminating and flushing toxins and waste from the body.

As we age, our stomach acid decreases, so we don’t absorb minerals as effectively. Unfortunately, we also consume food grown in depleted soil, stripped of minerals and nutrients, making supplementation important when needed.

Let’s talk sunlight ☀️

More natural sunlight = better overall health.
Light = Energy. No other form of energy can pe*****te cells the way light can. Sunlight is the most important nutrient, and your body is always seeking it.

Morning sunlight before screen time signals your body to produce the appropriate amounts of cortisol, thyroid hormone, and s*x hormones, contributing to a healthier nervous system.

You get all these benefits from natural sunlight ☀️:

Support Your Hormones with Carrot Salad

Eat 2 raw carrot salads daily, and I advise my clients to do the same. This easy and cheap you can do to help balance your estrogen.
Here are some benefits of carrots/raw carrot salad:

- The antibacterial fiber in carrots binds with toxins like excess estrogen and endotoxins in the digestive system, helping to eliminate them from the body.

**Recipe:**
- Peeled raw carrots
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey

Sugar is the devil’s food.

Approximately 80% of the 600,000 packaged foods you can buy in the US have added artificial sweeteners. This includes:
- Cookies, cakes, and pastries
- Bread, pasta, and crackers
- Pre-made beverages, including coffee, tea,
and sports drinks
- Yogurt
- Salad dressings and condiments
- Tomato and pasta sauce
- Peanut butter, and many more

These are things you wouldn’t add sugar to if you were making them from scratch.

Are you reading your ingredient labels ❓
Are you checking what you’re consuming on a daily basis❓
Companies often find ways to add sugar with different names to trick consumers. It’s important to know and be vigilant about what’s hiding in your food and how it’s affecting your health.

High consumption of sugar, in any form, is absolutely toxic to every single tissue type in your body and produces diseases of all types.

Connecting to the earth may calm them, help regulate emotions, and ensure a good night’s sleep.

Most people don’t know how to fuel their bodies in a way that improves their health, nourishes their body, balances blood sugar, decreases cravings, balances hormones and is satisfying and sustainable.
They are scared of food! And don’t eat enough nutrient dense protein and healthy fats along side healthy carbs.
When your meal involves too many simple sugars, it spikes your blood sugar levels, causing insulin to be released. This leads to a drop in your blood sugar levels, resulting in cravings for more sugar.
Blood sugar spikes over and over are a main driver of inflammation and hormonal imbalances.
