Arctic Sound Journeys

Hey guys! Arctic Sound Journeys will be holding an online event tomorrow evening April 22nd 7pm - 8:30pm (UK) // 8pm - 9:30pm (NO).

We’ll be holding a sound ceremony in honour of Earth Day - this is a space for rest and relaxation, giving ourselves permission to release and let go of stress and negativity.

Tobias Sarra & Katie Oswell will create a live, improvised soundscape with intermittent periods of silence, juxtaposed with chaotic elements.
With Tobias’ background in classical & jazz piano, free improvisation and Latvian pagan ceremony, and Katie’s classical voice, electronics, and Reiki Master work, together we combine experimental sounds with ceremonial healing space.
Sound healing can foster a sense of stillness within but it can also rustle our feathers and we may feel out of sorts after an event, as energy continues to shift. We encourage you to rest, perhaps write down any insights, and please do share in the group or DM either of us if you need specific support.

All you have to do is listen, and go with the flow. Sometimes even allowing ourselves that can be a lot!

April 22nd is Earth Day, and we as individuals and as a whole can use this time and space to connect with what this home of ours is going through, the flora the fauna, the seas and minerals, but also the humans, living through a pandemic, and also the atrocities currently affecting Myanmar. We have our personal sufferings, but we truly are a whole.

I'll be hosting the second instalment of Arctic Sound Journeys - Online Sound Ceremony this coming Sunday 22/11/2020.

As the sun slowly sets, gearing itself up for the long winter night, it will finally bow its head this weekend, plunging into darkness for the next 2 months. This ceremony will welcome in the darkness, both externally and internally, inviting us to welcome the shadow aspects of ourselves, as well as the relaxation and retreat that darkness provides.

Hey hey! So so... Technical difficulties mean I'm having trouble getting this to be a zoom event this evening.
