What’s better than a scrunchie? One (or 5) made from your wedding dress 🤍🤍

I was so honored to have the opportunity to do something a little different and repurposed the scraps from the hem of a wedding dress to create something perfect for the bride-to-be 👰‍♀️

When she reached out asking if there was any chance I could turn her scraps into scrunchies, I was all in, and made it my mission to use every last bit of the fabric. With the couple of layers she had hemmed, we managed to get 5 scrunchies with ties, 4 bows, a top knot, 2 hair ties, and even a bow for her sweet pup 🐶

We were honored to create this design for a customer currently undergoing treatment for the second time and although headbands won’t cure cancer, they sure as heck can bring a smile. And when people that care about you are also wearing that headband? We hope it brings you a moment of joy every time you see it 💜

That’s a wrap on three markets in three weeks 😳 😅

Maifest was not in the plans, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for the last minute YES. The weather was incredible, the people were happy, the giggles from the playground all weekend were a bonus, and I even got to fashion a bow on the spot for a fur baby. Thank you for having me back!

Will we do that many in a row again? Hard pass. I don’t regret the chance to see all of you and it fills me with so much joy, but it took me three days to get to this post because it seems as though I needed a day with my family and then a day to stare at the wall to recover.

Now don’t mind me as I lay a little lower this week 😴

Saturday was a good day. So many of you came to see us, the weather was beautiful, and my kids AND my mom got to join in on the fun 🥰 what more could a girl want??

Quality Control is hard work.

I do love that how Maddox still gets excited 2 years later about what his mom does for work and jumps at any opportunity to be involved. (Meanwhile Merritt just wants to keep all the products for herself… can’t say I blame her.)

It’s been a while since we’ve highlighted our heatless curlers, but they’ve been one of our best selling items in our paertnering boutiques.

Stuffed with fabric scraps from our twist headbands, these curlers are a no waste product, plus making them more absorbent than the traditional poly-fil method, so it’s a win-win.

Closing out this year with a heartwarming update on what all of you continue to make possible and the real heart behind what we do 🥰

This holiday season, funds Happy Badger Headbands donated to B66 (Inpatient Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit) at UW Hospital in Madison, WI were used towards so many smiles.

It served a catered lunch for patients and their families, and provided over $1400 to adopt 3 families for the holiday season and sent gift cards in various amounts to others ❤️ 🎁

Thank you SO MUCH too all of the nurses and staff that made this happen. No amount of words can express how grateful we are for you!!

Every little bit counts and we are so grateful for all of your support this year. It’s not only a dream come true, but we are making a true impact together. We cannot wait to see what we can do in 2024 🎉
