Blog of Development of Language in the Child
This blog is specifically dedicated to show the results of a survey about the importance of language in childhood
Finally it must be emphasized that language development in early childhood education is of utmost importance, since it is the instrument that will allow boys and girls to carry out satisfactory school learning, on which all the
later knowledge.
In the last question I asked:
5. Do you know a child who at the first year or at most 3 understands what he speaks perfectly?
All the answers were 'yes'.
This is quite common too, as (Fromkin & other, 2019) mention us ''the same 4 year old child, who may be unable to tie her shoes or even count to five as managed to master the complex gramatical structures of her language and acquire a substantial lexicon''
In this question I asked to the students to write their experiences.
3 students write their experiences below, sometimes children can be confused with the words and more if there are no parents taking care of their language.
In the next question I asked:
3. Do you know a child 3 years of age or older who has speech difficulties?
3 people answered yes and the other 3 answered no.
This is quite common because parents or caregivers sometimes do not teach the words correctly.
In the second question, I asked:
2. Which of these reasons do you think children learn language faster?
The options were:
a) Because of the environment in which they live
b)Because they do not have to figure out all the grammatical rules
There were 6 answers and just one chose the second answer; People need to know that is because they don't have to figure out all the grammatical rules, and ''only those that are specific to their particular language'' (Fromkin and others, 2019) can do it.
In this first question I asked to some of the students of the ''LAETI'' career to answer this survey.
As we see here in the first question, I asked:
1. Do you consider correct language teaching important in the first years of a children?
And all answers were yes.
The correct development of a language for a child in his first years of life are very important, also, Fromkin, V. Rodman, R. & Hyams, N. (2019) mention us that the children ''despite the fact that parents and other caregivers do not provide them any specific language instruction [...] they acquire (at least one) language''
This research aims to show how important early childhood is to learn the first language and grammar well, even a second language. Children who experience two languages from birth tend to become native speakers of both, while adults often have difficulty learning a second language and rarely achieve native-like fluency, that is why grammar is important. .
Welcome to this blog, I am gonna show some of the results of a survey about the development of language in the child, also I am gonna put more information about this important theme
