Newent Mend & Repair

Newent Mend & Repair

Volunteers who try to repair small household and personal items to give them a new lease on life.

LOCKDOWN SERVICE: we may be able to undertake repairs to small household and personal items of an essential nature, but only if commercial repair or replacement is not possible. Requests should include photos and a description of the problem. Items can dropped off or collected by arrangement, following social-distancing guidelines. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee success - but we'll do our best for you!

A FIX FOR TODAY: worn-away keycaps had left me unable to type the word STEWARD without pausing to think where the letters were. Redrew the missing letters with an indian-ink drawing pen and paintied over with clear lacquer.

Got something that needs fixing or rejuvenation? Bring it along to Mend and Repair in Newent Memorial Hall tomorrow between 10:00 and 12:30
