Happy Friday, y’all! I just had lunch with an amazing friend who makes my life better just because she’s in it. She’s family. She’s loved my family and I love hers. We’ve shared real life and stood by each other in hard times.

Today they shared something that made me tear up and I managed not to let a few tears roll until I got to the car. First Day of School! 5th and 8th! Both are the in their final year on their current campus. Lord help us! They are growing so fast!

The Vinita Sky is named after an artisan who works with our partner in India. Vinita is originally from West Bengal. She went to school until the 8th grade in before moving to Delhi in the hopes of finding economic opportunity. However, due to her young age and ethnic background, she faced incredible challenges finding a dignified and fair-wage job.

She was eventually introduced to our artisan business partner in Delhi, who provided her with training to join the team full-time. Vinita has become an avid supporter and believer in the Fair Trade movement as her life has been drastically changed working in an environment that prioritizes workers and their health.

This ikat-inspired print is a testament to women like Vinita, who hold up half the sky.

Because everything in life is better with friends, our work to weekend look isn’t complete without a fun crew to connect about life and encourage each other.

MY SUMMER ESSENTIALS!

Catch some of my favorite summer essentials before Monday at noon CT!

These were absolute life savors this summer and I highly recommend them!

1! If you have kids- THE MARKET ESSENTIALS BAGS!

I don’t care if they are small, teens, or college- these Mexican vintage style inspired totes are so cute! Give the kids responsibility to bring their towel, book, snack and essentials. I carried one too. Sand doesn’t stick to it but also shakes out. Perfect for road trips, beach, pool, trips to the library. Assorted colors and so fun!

2) If you’re a mom or a traveler- XL Market Tote-

This is amazing for travel! If you stay at airbnbs and need to bring your own towels, TP, and paper towels, or bedding it’s perfect for sending college kids off to school with clothes and them returning with laundry… Great for travel, college, the pool and beach, camping- perfect for organizing all the things and keeping you together.
